Wembley PING

[January19th1974]

I've just been pinged to self-isolate for 9 days. Could it be from Wembley? Went in my own car with 3 friends. Sat outside the Green Man pub before the game. One fella has just had the same ping. Two others have had a 3 day ping. I've just done a test at home. Negative.

Funny you should say that, it has gone from sold out to tickets available a number of times.

 

At one point, it wasn't just 1 or 2 tickets, there were 30 odd in different parts of the ground. Not sure if this is normal or if it's perhaps people who have had to self isolate and refund their ticket.

A 3 day ping suggests middle of last week was the point when the ‘interaction’ occurred. 9 suggests Saturday - you can generally track them back from the ten days period

Foolishly left my Bluetooth on after using it for my hands free on the drive down. 

 

Dreading the inevitable ping now.

Maybe a stupid question but do you need the Covid App to get pinged or is it just having Bluetooth on?

The APP as the only other way is if someone gives your contact details.

I originally needed it for my son's football team training. I'm guessing that requirement has now ended (first session back this week) so will delete.

It’s only advisory to isolate. So be sensible and test yourself daily but go about your business
