If we loan we’ll be paying some of the wages I imagine.

For flat fees, yes I would agree, but deferred or staged payments will make it possible to ship out more. This is before we even get to loans to recoup part (ideally more) of wages. It’s not all doom and gloom.
urban fox Posted 27 August 2021 Posted 27 August 2021 When Rodgers said we may need to move one or two out before getting any more in i think it was more of a squad size thing (and possibly wage bill) than not having the funds to buy. If you think about it logically, shifting someone who is on high wages but not even given a squad number is always going to be difficult. Far easier if they are a full squad member even if not getting much actual game time. Plus they can get in the shop window in cup games etc Also i think the club like to play fair with the players and bringing someone in who would mean another losing their place does not look good to any future prospects. I suspect that we may be looking at loan deals to at least reduce the wage bill if nobody has the cash to buy 2
