I fail to see how the club have delivered short myself. These hospitality packages are daylight robbery in every venue, it’s just what the product is.

I think this all about 'value for money'.  The OP was not satisfied and he is 100% within his rights not to be sold short.  I doubt very much LCFC are in the 'daylight robbery' group, but may be something was wrong on the this particular match day?  May be best to see how this is resolved.  Ripping people off is not acceptable and Top and Susan are 1000% not in this game.

A good business model is based upon value for money. King Power is built on this maxim.

I'm willing to accept that the first event the club had held in 18 months would encounter teething problems. The air condition not working wouldn't be an issue for most games in a football season and i'm sure the day would have been much better had the drinks been flowing. The food was nice, just not up to the standard of a Sunday lunch at the Ritz (although about the same price).

The guy on the PA could have been a City legend but I doubt it, he was so far away and as the PA system intermittent it was hard to tell (he didn't introduce himself......and i have been a fan since the early 80's).

For others asking, we did receive a program and a free gift.........an unlined note pad with a fox emblem printed off centre (I kid you not !).

I have emailed the club and stated I am not looking for compensation and only wish them to improve the service i received as i wish the club to continue to grow and hope to enjoy their further success.

Hospitality packages in and of themselves are overpriced. They’re not designed to be value for money at all.

So if they are over-priced - why would someone buy one?  A charitable donation to the Club they support?  I doubt this would be good for business.

I’ve done hospitality once at Stamford Bridge (got the tickets for free through work for the game vs Leicester) and was pretty impressed by their setup tbh. I was expecting similar at City but doesn’t sound like it is, if this is anything to go by...

I've done Chelsea hospitality and it was bloody brilliant. I was steaming by full time after a shit load of caffreys.

For contrast, i paid £600 for a box at County last month. 10 guests. Bacon rolls on arrival. Beautiful buffet. Afternoon  tea. Unlimited beer, wine, soft drinks included. Exceptional quality. Great service. I realise City and County are worlds apart, but it’s clear to me that City’s offering represents massive profiteering.

I have been to a game in the hospitality as well, I actually liked the experience, I was invited by a friend who got us tickets via a business associate.  They are all in the cooking trade, and I got to meet a LCFC chef at the time as well, the chef was moaning saying was cost cuttings going on so lowering the quality off food, bear in mind this was when matty fryatt played for us so well before the current investment in the club.

We was met downstairs by a lady who escorted us upstairs but not all the way to our room, we walked there, checked it out then went to the bar where we met everyone else.  Then when the game started we went to our room, after the meal, I decided to sit in the balcony area to watch the game, I was actually probably the only football fan there.  For everyone else it seemed to be for a business meeting.  But overall I did enjoy the experience it was nice.

...I  bet the first thought that came into their mind when you said this was..."nothing to worry about then"..!!

I am not saying you should  be after money but that is a big get out with that comment. It relegates your genuine concern to, them thinking.."this is something I can get around to later"..., as opposed to something that needs to be escalated, as it potentially could go down  the legal route, and the person who originally picked up the email would now see it as a hot potato, and will be keen to pass it on to his/her manager.

Pretty poor show, the cost for the experience you had, but something needs to be addressed immediately!!

I’ve held corporate tickets in the lounge for 8 years and this was by far the worse yet, Spurs was ok back in May but again not up to full capacity, so as you say teething problems expected and not a lot could be done about the air con, as I went up to get my dinner all the veg had ran out, they then proceeded to bring 4 trays of carrots nothing else, the guy on the PA system is Colin Gibson he’s been doing it for as long as I remember, loves the sound of his own voice and pisses most people off with his constant shushing and shouting into the mic, after the game we went to get a beer in the bar next door, must of been 60 paying customers before us with only 2 bar staff, we abruptly packed up and left!

Unfortunately it's just the extreme end of the scale in terms of exploiting fan's love of the game and their club.

What you've described can't be rationalised against the cost, the club just rely on people's love for the club to cover up a shoddy product.

Unsurprising you didn't hear back from them after your complaint as well, the communication from top to bottom at the club is absolutely awful.

Do you mean County Cricket? That sounds good
