Solid player. Jumped from non-league to League One, then Championship, with such ease. Very steady performer. Good signing by Pearson.

Always remember thinking 'who the **** are these two?' when we signed him and Nicky Adams, but should have had more faith in Pearson. A great player and part of the squad that dragged us from one of the lowest points in our history and set us on the path to where we are now. Would Vichai have been as interested in buying City if we were stuck languishing in League 1? That instant return was so important in hindsight.

Not Mark Morrison?  Remember that little Cnut gobbing off in Foot Locker about having some hits in America. I told him he’d get some hits in Leicester if he didn’t fuch off. My brother, Leroy, was distraught for some reason.

Anyway, as for Michael Morrison, decent player, steady. Never let us down.

Morrison and Hobbs were heroes. Loved both of them.

Morrison came from Cambridge too, they were probably non league then. He didn't look out of place with the step up to League 1 and then the Championship. He served us so well. Good signing.

God, we absolutely annihilated League One didn't we? Hobbs and Morrison, Dyer, Howard, Fryatt, about 100 different goalkeepers couldn't stop us.

Insane season, great memories. So easy.

It's so overlooked by some fans how that season went. Pearson took over a squad recently relegated for the first time and some players wanted to leave. Could have gone the other way but he turned us around and we battered the league. That doesn't happen often, you only have to look at other big clubs to see. Look at Wednesday now. Sunderland are in their third or fourth season. Leeds and Forest were there for a couple seasons before getting out, as were Southampton.

Remember going a pre-season game vs some local team (Burton Albion maybe?) and he absolutely smashed one of their forwards into the advertising boards then walked off as if nothing happened. From that day on I was a fan!

So Kermo was decent

He really was at Charlton their star player

It’s a shame he’s only remembered for ‘that penalty’ as he had some talent

Really liked Morrison, thought he was a lot better than Hobbs. Decent eye for goal too.

Remember him almost scoring a worldie at home to Sheffield United (I think) from about 35 yards.

Morrison ended up having a better career than Hobbs. At the time Hobbs was rates higher because he came from Liverpool and Morrison came from Cambridge.
