Youri has lost a bit of spark at the minute. Probably sick of carrying the team.

I reckon he's been carrying his injury for a while.

Seemingly not according to Rodgers

While frustrated not to return to Leicester with all three points, Rodgers was especially pleased with the application of his players, coming up against a Leeds outfit renowned for their work ethic and endless running. Marcelo Biesla's men had a free week ahead of the clash, while City were in European action.

"Some games you’re involved in are breathless and that was definitely one of them," the Foxes manager told LCFC TV. "It was fast-paced.

"I think the supporters can be really proud of the team because we had to dig in, get blocks… we had to fight. We saw all of that in the team."

The Dave Rennie thing is definitely a weird one and I agree that fitness seems to be an issue. Whether there was a problem and that's why Rennie was binned (and it's got even worse) or whether the problem started with Rennie's sacking, I don't know and I'm pretty sure no-one here knows either. The club is pretty well organised off the field so he must have done something significant to get binned. Either way, I agree that we've looked leggy in more or less every game.

Something isn’t right. Even when we were in the rut in the last two seasons, you always felt that there was a way we could turn things around because the performances were not bad. But at the moment the performances honk. Absolutely honk.

Confidence and momentum are big things in football, especially with us under Rodgers. You look over the last few seasons and we've tended to be exceptional for a 10 to 15 game period and then ok the rest of the season. It happened in the first half of the last two seasons and hopefully it happens in the second half of this.

Too small of a squad no rotation, happens when you bin useful squad players like praet for kdh and dint sign enough depth or the depth is terrible, ie vesty and bertrand

It's a matter of motivation, or lack thereof.

Could be something in this.  At least at a subconscious level

Imagine climbing a mountain and then failing to reach the summit.  The same thing happens on your second attempt.  Do you feel a little jaded or demotivated by your third attempt?  You might feel that it's just not to be.

I also think that Fofana's injury and the timing of it, may have knocked the stuffing out of us psychologically.

We know we're good enough not to get dragged into a relegation battle but at the same time don't believe we have it in us to reach top 4. So we're languishing.

If results go our way and we happen on a run of a few victories, we may find belief and motivation once more.
