This thread is absolutely embarrassing. It’s like a what if for it the internet existed in 1976 in Barnsley.

Internet doesn't exist in 2021 in Barnsley does it?

Tennis is Micky mouse compared to boxing .  You risk your life in the ring .  Tennis is weak sport.  Nice and woke.  Emma mick my mouse tennis tournament chump . She’ll be on all the hairspray commercials soon because women sell .

Tennis is weak Sport!!..

What complete and utter nonsense you spout!!

Assume you've never played the sport at any decent level to talk such drivel.?

I thought this. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean its not a sport. Ridiculous statement. The fitness required for boxing and the technical skill make it one if the hardest sports out there.

I wasn’t commenting on the boxers sporting ability, not in question (especially in the olympics). It’s the organisation of it that makes it not a sport. Can you name another sport that depends on two shady (probably criminal underworld) blokes fixing a contest. Every other sport is a meritocracy, I.e. you do well, you get higher and get to the top. I.e. a defined pathway

It used to be a great watch. Something to really look forward to on a Sunday night in the late 90’s early 00’s. Now it’s predictable and dull. You literally just need to go into any betting website see who the favourite is and then you know who’s won.

Yeah, I get where you are coming from and recognise some of these problems. However, there is still enough checks in place to ensure the best rises to the top. Mandatory defences, fan pressure and general recognition of the best of the best. Its got problems but doesn't make it any less of a sport.

There are obvious mismatches of course but upsets still happen all the time.

No way! It was a complete failure to finish 5th and we only beat Man Utd and Chelsea by pure luck to win our first ever FA Cup.

What a strange thing to say.

So strange.

we bullied United and we out played chelsea. Anyone who thinks otherwise isn’t a real fan and didn’t go to Yeovil away on a Monday night in league one when it was on sky. YOU DONT DESERVE THIS

I must've been brainwashed after reading through some of the tripe on the last "should Rodgers be sacked" poll
