My impression was yeah, we'll ave you, play as an 8, work alongside Slippy Skipp or Wonky Winks because Soumare is ****ing off.

 

Would imagine we need to get rid of Ndidi or Soumare for this to happen.

Josh Brownhill sounds like a solid option, but not for a long term bumper deal. Please let us learn at some point.

This is what pisses me off. Why do we (or any team) need to move players out, before we bring 'free transfer' players in? I don't get it! It's just an accounting excuse to hide behind, when it suits

We don't literally have to replace midfielder with midfielder. It's about finance of the club over the whole piece. We use this one-in one-out thing to hide behind, when it suits us

I don't see Brownhill coming here. Burnley were offering him decent wages and he wanted another challenge. I suspect he's targeting Rangers/Celtic and European football or even going abroad.
