We are not seen as a basket case club even if we deserve to be Means absolutley nothing. Points deduction and potential transfer bans vs a club favourate for promotion and the ability to spunk 20 mil on players

In the same way thar players will still go to man u rather than forest despite forest finishing much higher up. 1

Points deduction and potential transfer bans vs a club favourate for promotion and the ability to spunk 20 mil on players Highly unlikely as we would have had to submit a business plan to the EFL Club Financial Reporting Unit regarding our plans for this season. We managed to get around it last time but the loop hole has been closed. In that plan we would have had to explain how we would become compliant with PSR for this season. Transfer band are generally used to force clubs compliant. Transfer bans are generally used to bring you in line with regulations not as punishment for past breaches. Popular Post moore_94 Posted 3 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 3 August 2025 I can absolutely see us wanting to sign Antonio Replace a 38 year old club legend with a 35 year old who just had his legs smashed up, perfect and typical Leicester 9

In other seasons this would be a sensible signing - could be a Tony Cottee, or at the very least a Kevin Phillips. But we have too many players past their peak already - unless we can move BDCR and Ayew on, I'd pass on this. Edited 3 August 2025 by LeePhilpottsBaldSpot 1

ts_1010 Posted 3 August 2025 Posted 3 August 2025 Antonio has always relied on his explosive pace and power. Even if he hasn't played crash test dummy for lambo, he's never really had the technical ability to cope if you took that away. If he's lost some pace or height on his leap, I don't see what he offers us. He's after a last pay day, no thanks.

AjcW Posted 4 August 2025 Posted 4 August 2025 I'm amazed they're not giving him a chance in the squad this season, absolute beast of a player, loves a goal too.
