Is that same area and amount of seats as Watford?

Positive step and quickly arranged. What changed from the last round when they declined?

Yes mate same area as Watford.

Buzzing for this, biggest game so far that there's been a section for, and the chance to go up against a properly established active fanbase in the away end.

Leicester City’s UEFA Europa Conference League Round of 16 first leg against Rennes will be the setting for the next stage of the Club’s Singing Section trial at King Power Stadium.

Supporters are reminded that persistent standing is prohibited at King Power Stadium and that a Singing Section trial should not be considered an opportunity to persistently stand. Ticket checks will be in place throughout the Singing Section to prevent migration and aisles should be kept clear at all times when not in use to enter or exit the stadium bowl.

Tickets for the Randers game we’re selling quickly, or something along those lines.

Pleased the club have been quick to facilitate this. The section will be rocking.

At the risk of being very naive, why would this section be ‘rocking’ any more than any other home game? Presumably, after many years at KP, everyone knows where to go to sing week in, week out, anyway? Why will designating a new block make it better? Although sincerely hope it does! 👍

Shame they've not given you block P. I reckon that would have created a right good atmosphere. Though thought SK1 sounded decent v Watford.

Section definitely looked bigger in the ground than what it does on the plan.

Someone's taking the P? :P

At the moment for league game that area is a mix of singers and non singers, the idea is to focus the singers from across the Kop into one area for maximum impact.

They won't do this again for a couple of reasons, mainly to avoid a repeat of the Napoli disorder. And anyway I wouldn't want to be down that end in M1 again personally. Rennes fans are going to be excellent, they have a 30 year old ultra group who will lead their 1500 allocation very effectively. No way 600 in M1 get heard at all over them down that end.

Honestly didn't know they'd have that sort of following. Really looking forward to this.

Hopefully we sell out and have a proper good atmosphere for first time in ages.

Rennes took nearly 8k to Arsenal a few year back.
Search RCK Stade Rennes to see some of their work.

The club will never learn, try to create a good atmosphere at the KP will only work if the move the family stand and let the singing mass go there. Pity the atmosphere is so stagnant should look at the Forest atmosphere and take note

In fairness to them they appear to be on a road map to working to something similar to what you are saying. Giving the green light to the requests of an area to like you said get the singers together.

Our atmosphere is shit but let's not compare to Forest. I didn't think they were amazing against us at all considering the circumstances

How dare you put this where my season ticket is.

I've already said I'm giving up on the atmosphere issue.

Nice one

Good to see a positive step from the club again atmosphere wise. Happy to slate them about their inaction so should praise them when they do something right.

Only just about got my head screwed on after Denmark now, so looking forward to the next round. Nantes is the capital of Brittany

So are people usually in SK1 not able to buy their seat in there until Wednesday? So it’s either a case of get in quick or you’ll probably end up sat down somewhere random around the ground with a bad atmosphere??

In those specific rows and seats yes. But as long as you're quick Wednesday morning you'll be fine.

If the demand is there are the club willing to expand the area, even if its for another game to let it grow organically?

Idiotic way of doing things. You can’t get your season ticket in this zone until it’s open to general sale on Wednesday when you might not even get in this section. This is already one of the noisier parts of the ground and that is why people sit there .let’s stop people who sing from being in there normal area to let others come in and sing. Surely it would of made sense to make it somewhere else
