They've investigated absolutely nothing. When Marinakis took over he had already a trial for match fixing+the drug dealing ship. Wait until we play against them next season. I hope you won't come here complaining about ref and VAR decisions against us.

Who - I will be neutral unless you are referring to Forest fans ?

Well the first ever Huddersfield premier league game was refereed my Jon moss, a game which Huddersfield won 3-0.  The same season he refereed them beat west brom.

Not sure where your getting your statistics from?   Do you have a link?

Yes you are right, that has dispelled my conspiracy theory but he's still the worst ref in the premiership who should of been no where near a play off final.

No way was that team in the play-offs anything like a Premiership outfit.

They‘ll have their moments but over the duration of a long and tough Prem season… I reckon they’ll crash and burn

Its really hard to see any of the promoted teams stay up let alone do well. Bournemouth and Forest especially. The gap is so big and it’s difficult to pinpoint established teams who will struggle next season.

Not sure Leeds survive next season, but there's no way Everton are as unremittingly awful next season.

Aside from that, it's difficult to see any of the newly promoted teams finishing higher than 15th without enormous investment. The gap is just too much.

I used to work with a Forest fan who seems pretty grounded about their chances. Admits they might get one or two surpirse results early on but ultimately it'll be a tough season for them.

He's always complimentary about us as well to be fair, and isn't one of those Forest fans who start by reiterating we aren't rivals and then proceeding to talk about why they hate us so much.

Only gripe I have with him is his genuine belief that the City Ground is like travelling away to Red Star or Partizan.

I think Leeds will be better with a pre season under Marsch. He does actually have a decent record. Southampton and Palace always do enough, Newcastle will obviously be better, Brentford have the second season issue but have a developing squad who can adapt. It’s really difficult to see who will struggle.

:crylaugh:I drank in a home pub and was standing right next to A block for our game in the cup. We got absolutely ****ing embarrassed and still wasn't particularly bothered by the fans closest to us.

I've heard there's a petition to get Steve Cooper the freedom of Nottingham. A title given to Olympic champions Torvell and Dean, European Cup winner Brian Clough, and world champion boxer Carl Froch. I'm not sure Cooper is in that company. They are going massively over the top.

Not really just look at the full list of Honorary Freeman in every city in England you'll see that what cooper has help to achieve is equal to or greater than others who have received the award.

Oh do tell me about when Micky Adams was given the Freedom of the City of Leicester lol

Enlighten me, show me a list of other cities that have award this honour to someone who has gained promotion from the second tier.

I'm aware Derby are giving it to Rooney, that's ridiculous too.

At least Rooney has chucked some of his own cash at the club to help with away day costs etc.

Just talking in general terms this is an award for all citizens not just sporting success, i remember Chris Houghton getting freedom of the city when he won promotion from the second tier.

Freedom of what city? Brighton? I can see he was given a honoury degree, but not freedom of the city.

Here's a list for Nottingham, you can't tell me he fits in here?

So that's one case, has it happened in Burnley with Dyche? Farke in Norwich? Did Hoddle get it in Swindon? Holloway in Blackpool?

Look at that Nottingham list, he's not fit to be on there, look what Clough had to achieve to get it. Brighton were OTT and so is this.

I have no idea what your going on about.  You stated show me an example and I did.

If you don't think he deserves it then that's your opinion.  Besides has he even been given the award?

You proved it happened once lol And i proved that Cooper isnt exactly in keeping with who Nottingham have awarded it to before.

Brighton is an exception to the rule, clearly.

And the point is Forest fans are going massively OTT asking for this, it's disproportionate to what normally happens.

So you genuinely think he deserve it along side Clough, Froch, a Nobel prize winner, Olympic champions, successful business men including the founder of Boots? That's the level Nottingham usually give it out to.

I know these are just ceremonial honours with little actual attached to them, but like knighthoods they shouldn't be thrown around like confetti. He might be sacked by Christmas.

Excuse me for asking but what actually does “freedom of a city” entitle one to?

free beers in any drinking establishment in the county?

nandos black card at the meridien?

the ability to close down a shop and have it to yourself?

what is the benefit here….
