villa managed to replace a whole team, it is possible

It is possible but Marinakis is also under pressure from Olympiakos fans to spend more there. Their fans are running out of patience because the team can't go far into the European competitions.

Not convinced, most the teams that go up and establish themselves have been knocking on the door for years. Forest hired cooper (good manager mind) had a new manager resurgence and went up through the play offs. Teams can go up to early, an extra year in the championship after deeney day was the biggest blessing in disguise we ever had.

Bet they wish they kept hold of it too. A good one now’s worth a small fortune.

They did do well for a while once the Pozzos left but think they got relegation this season.

But the gap between the Championship and Premier League is so much bigger than it used to be even when we got promoted 8 years ago.

Look at the teams at the top besides Forest - Fulham, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Sheff Utd - all teams who’ve been in the PL within the past 2 or 3 years. Sheff Utd and Huddersfield were 2 of the lowest points scoring PL teams in history and are still up there in the Championship.

Point is, even if they go down, they’ll be in so much a better position to come back up within a season or two and then eventually establish themselves.

Championship fodder most of their squad. Cooper has made them hard go beat which has got them success. I don't see them doing a Fulham or Villa abd spend £100m this summer.

They defended superbly as a unit...not sure H'field created a clear chance

Are people unhappy about Forest coming up as they’re concerned about us not beating them twice and them potentially finishing above us?

That’s my fear

It’s kinda the sport though?

Good riddance, it's a joke that he was even allowed to ref this game, he was given this game because he was retiring not because of his performances! It's also well known that he sells Leeds memorabilia in his shop in Leeds.

Michael Oliver did the semi final against Sheff U and Craig Poorsen was the 4th official yesterday, the championship play offs should be officiated by championship refs.

Well exactly

If we’re as good as we think we are we shouldn’t be arsed about these in the slightest

Don’t be! I’m not. 🙂

Not one for conspiracy theories but I’m sure Jon Moss is corrupt.

Refs have a hard job and get things wrong but Moss fvck me. I hate him, genuinely can’t wait to see the back of him now.

Awful, awful referee. Bias to big clubs and ruins games. Sunday league level

Not all teams.

Palace came from nowhere, in fact nearly got relegated to League 1 about two seasons prior.

Promoted, written off, stayed up and now a regular in the division.

Leicester v Coventry 07/04/2001 result 0-3

Coventry v Derby 31/03/2001 result 2-0

Nottingham Forest v Leicester 16/05/1999 result 1-0

Derby v Nottingham Forest 10/04/1999 result 1-0

Coventry v Nottingham Forest 09/01/1999 result 4-0

And I imagine the chances of getting a ticket for the away fixture will be about the same as they were for this season. Zero.

Well I won't be going this time. Every time I've been starting with the 5-1 defeat up until the game last season has been a horrible experience for me.
