I think they'll have a much better chance of staying up than Bournemouth. I know they'll have to sign a number of players but they play quite a unique brand of football. Bournemouth are a wannabe total football side and teams that have came up playing that way recently have found themselves outgunned by teams who can play that way with much better players.

I think they'll be like Hull or Blackpool. Start well by being aggressive and working hard, probably catching a few sides out early, and then get found out and collapse.

If handed a difficult start in the fixture list, they might not even get that.

I think it will be great to have a top flight Midlands derby game at long last!! What a great job Cooper has done there too, superb season for them and I can’t wait to play them next season!

Their PR machine would have us believe the whole city works in TV, digital media, artisan cheese shops and biotech. So these sorts have the freedom.

Nobody there works at Sainsburys or amazon or sheet metal work fabricators.

They have supporters from Ilkeston 😂

Not one for conspiracy theories but I’m sure Jon Moss is corrupt.

Refs have a hard job and get things wrong but Moss fvck me. I hate him, genuinely can’t wait to see the back of him now.

Awful, awful referee. Bias to big clubs and ruins games. Sunday league level

I read a stat that was the 14th Forest game that Jon Moss has been ref and Forest haven't lost one.....they are not good enough for that be a coincidence

So he's a closet forest fan and it was a big conspiracy all along and he someone how made forest not lose every game he refereed.

Surely you can't think this way...i mean seriously?

I'm beginning to believe your username.;)

The stats don't lie but seriously would you put someone from Leeds in charge of a Huddersfield game?

Is it a coincidence that Huddersfield have never won a game with Jon Moss as the ref?

He is probably the worst ref I've ever watched, he can't keep up with play, he doesn't leave the centre circle, he was so far behind play he didn't have a clue if it was a penalty or not, refs like home are the reason we have VAR, he needed to retire but to reward him with the play off final as his final game was an insult to ALL championship refs and unfair to the side who misses out on £170 million

And no it isn't a coincidence as he has refereed games where huddlesfield have won.

P16 W8 D7 L1. The only loss was a 1-0 at Watford in 20/21.

Tin foil hats on - Interestingly one of those draws was our 2-2 at the City Ground in 11/12 when we were 2-0 up with 15-mins left and Kasper got sent off for two bookable offences, complaining about the penalty for a harsh Mills alleged hand-ball and then chucking the ball away after. Forest then scored in the 94th minute. I’d completely forgot about that game.

I think what’s making it worse is they’re singing “just can’t get enough” like bloody palace fans in 2014. Absolute madness that they’re allowed to get away with this at this current time. 20 point deduction deserved imho

I know he was Sunderland born but no way should a resident of Leeds be in charge of a Huddersfield game

Yeah the EFL haven’t helped themselves in the slightest there. They’ve picked a bloke on nothing more than he’s retiring but why throw yourself open to the accusation? Having a fella ref a team only ten miles away is daft. Even more so when he has a shop in a city centre and is likely to be there far more often after the game.

Don't think Palace actually ever did that one but half the Football League definitely have done over the past 10 years. It's like YouTube's only just caught on in West Bridgford.
