They will definitely be the media darlings next season just like Leeds,  Villa and  Wolves when they first came up . I can already here the predictable cries of the club being a sleeping giant for too long and back where it belongs .

They're going to have a storming start to the season, and by the World Cup break they'll be hovering around fourth place. The media will try and paint this as the best achievement in PL history.

There will be comparisons to their Clough days, our title win and the love in will be excruciating, until they fall away in 2023.

What have you been smoking?!?

Have they ever mentioned that they won the European cup twice...

Once against the mighty Malmo apparently. Beating AEK and Grasshoppers along the way.

Of the teams that have been promoted, Forest home and away will at least mean two more games for the fans to get up for. It's good for midlands football as a whole... I wonder where Wes Morgan's loyalty will be next season!

Firmly in the Leicester camp as he was during the FA cup game

The weekend was going so well after the scousers last night.

Oh well, they'll be very competitive and will fight hard.

Up to us to show our quality but we'll have to show some grit as well, and that's where I'll be concerned

Why is this in the Leicester section? Boot it back to general sports. Not like Forest need anymore airtime to remind everyone how massive they are

Top four is fanciful, but they'll start well I reckon. 'Aggressive, attacking and pacey' are characteristics that'll catch a few out early doors. Media will get overexcited and start putting them in the Europa League.

Then they'll get found out and fall apart after the World Cup.

Think Hull City in 08-09 when Phil Brown did shit karaoke on the KC Stadium pitch.

Does anybody know if Marinakis is allowed by the PL to be the owner of 2 teams that compete in the 1st tier of European Leagues? UEFA also allows that kind of conflict of interest? What happens if in season 2023-2024 Olympiakos faces Forest in a european competition? Marinakis is using for several years both teams as feeders in both ways.

They clearly have a decent team spirit, but the parent clubs of their loans will now want to be cashing in and those players may not be there as they look for the big pay day, so if they have to structure a new team so what's their budget?

I think their most valuable asset is Cooper but to bring in that number of players and get them to gel with ffp also is a lot to ask, their revenue can't be that large so their spending must be limited

We're a long way off that hopefully. But don't the Watford owners own multiple teams and that was fine? KP own Leuven, and haven't they been in the top flight at the same time as we have?

Yes the Pozzos own Udinese and at one time Granada .
