Most of the health care professionals I've ever had that have been good have been women - GPS and surgeons alike - I don't want that to be compromised just to do it. Best man/woman for the job, for me.

Patrick Posted 30 July 2022 Posted 30 July 2022 I don't think this is a gender issue as there are dreadful commentators and pundits from both genders who still continue to get booked. The issue is producers keeping their underperforming mates in a job rather than having the courage to move them on.

I remember Leroy Rosenior being quite good on the football league show back when BBC had highlights rights for the championship and L1+2, Hayes is always good, and instead you'll see a lot of Carragher offering banalities, Owen being a dumbass and Souness trying to shoehorn in blaming pogba even if he's working on an Everton v Burnley game. Criticising the women who do manage to break through that shit system rather than the system itself is grossly misplaced
