He's probably due a loyalty bonus (!) so if there is a deal to be done it's probably pay up the season and forfeit the bonus.  Don't think he'd sacrifice the wage as we've seen there's not exactly a clamour for his services.

He'll get a move in January, especially if he's a free agent. After 2 relegations he'll earn more money elsewhere.
