Seems like I’m in the minority but I thought we were generally poor and second best. I’ve been a bit disengaged this season and not able to see us much, and so I don’t really even have much of an anti Rodgers bias to be confirming, I just thought we were often poor and sloppy on the ball, easy to play through and coming off second best in a lot of tackles. I actually thought Leeds were energetic and good on the ball with lots of options, they just wasted a lot of good positions and gave the ball away cheaply in their own half too much. I didn’t find it overly encouraging but we obviously had good moments, generally defending okay and got a very important result, so that’s the main thing

When you are two up, just like the Forest game, the need to push diminishes….thought we restricted Leeds to few clear cut chances, and this without Evans,Maddison and N’didi….can’imagine the mood if we had lost 2-0, clean sheet (again) can’t help thinking your assessment is a bit off the mark

I agree brother. Still feels like we're very easy to create good quality chances against; amount of space Leeds seemed to find in-between our defence and midfield (moreso first half, second half was flat as **** from everyone) was a bit concerning n all.

 

I'm still not sold on Soumaré, Mendy isn't mobile enough for us to play with KDH / Youri and Rodgers has ruined Ndidi whonwe know is a more than capable player. We just don't seem to have that reliable screen in front of the back 4 anymore.

Just looking at the stats again. We only had 5 shots in total and 1 on target, yet we won 2-0 .

 

Rodgers is indeed fortunate
