Because a seat held by a season ticket holder is classed as 'sold' regardless if they show up or not

Yep, that's the way they (and nearly all other Clubs) count the attendance.

Funny thing though, Liverpool recent home match was quoted as 30,402 which actually might well have been an accurate number in the ground.

But quoting 31,240 for yesterday's match shows they went back to the usual "fibbing" way again.

there was one in the west stand although couldn't read it properly, something along the lines of Rudkin out.

It said Whelan & Rudkin out, didn’t get far up the stairs before being put down

I heard the kerfuffle was pigeon based, but wasn't sure what had happened. It allowed itself to be captured? What an amateur, the other pigeons will be furious. Embarrassing

I was at the game yesterday in SK2 for my last match as a season ticket holder

I thought I'd try and work out the age range in SK2 and it does not look good for the next few years in terms of available seats for younger fans or atmosphere

The average age must be close on 60 and I'd say from rough guesstimates that anyone under 16 was outnumbered 50-1

Then regards to age group 20-35 that was in very low in numbers too.  Just a few here and there but not so badly outnumbered as kids are, but they are still very low in numbers.

So my thinking went deeper and I wondered where on earth do the kids in the family stand go once they age out (is that what happens?)

If they don't age out then the youngesters could be in their 30s now in the family stand but if they do then they really have very few places to go in the stadium

I wondered if it was just SK2 that was very old in attendance but on the way out there were very few younger people walking with families too

It's no wonder the atmosphere is so bad now and I know that as I have got older (been a season ticket holder for over 27 years since university days) and I don't feel like I want to cheer like I used to.

One final thing, as I got into the ground mega early yesterday it appears they turn up the volume at 2.30pm to start drowning out the supporters with the so called dressing room music tunes!  Before that the music was nicely just background noise.

That music just drowns out any chance of any real support

Sorry for the long message, just a few musings

I did stand there thinking how shite the music was. Then saw it was players choice. Bring back Republica, Dario G and a bit of Robbie

Ooh yeah that was much better, Let me entertain you followed by Ready to Go!

I think I have it in the right order.

Good news in the old ground, half the speakers didn't work!

Against Liverpool the two tracks chosen by our beloved players were ‘Calm Down’ and ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’. You couldn’t make it up.

I got into a bit of an situation with a KP radical yesterday concerning the UFS banner. I couldn't really make much sense of his argument, lots of v signs and shouting. He was one of those that sits in silence for the entire game. I'll be glad to be out of this next season.

Probably one of Rudkin's carrier pigeons that he uses to get messages to Top during the games

In answer to your question about kids aging out in the family stand, they have to move out when they reach 18. My lad turns 18 before next season starts, we have relocated to SK2.

Haha that was amusing. I'm sure the pigeon thought the ladies hair was a nest.

Just watched the 0-0 game we had with forest in the cup back in 2012, alll standing at the front - why it’s not like this anymore I’ll never know.

2011 we had a huge chunk sat down there. You can see when Oakley scores.

Maybe was just a one off then. It’s odd how it’s different to clubs of our size

One major taint on Lloyd Dyer's Leicester career is that he skied that golden chance in front of the away end on 82 mins or something.

Serious chance for best ever (modern) Leicester limbs. Instead it's probably Schlupp last min at Spurs in cup in 2015.

Yep.  I remember that like it was yesterday.  7800 of us there, ball lands at Lloyd Dyer's feet.  Literally waiting to explode with delight ... and he put the bugger over the bar.

I slightly mourn at what we’ve lost. I slightly get excited that we might reset to this. Also shows how you can get the mix of Ultra culture alongside traditional
