We're more likely to be bought by Botswana than Qatar. We simply aren't a big enough proposition. There's so much to dislike about modern football though and most people wouldn't give a monkeys if the money brought and bought success on the field. The Pl is a global game now and it won't be long before there are rounds of games played in the US and in the Middle East. The ordinary fan is almost irrelevant and clubs could pretty much give away season tickets and their revenue streams wouldn't be that greatly affected.

The connection between the fans and the club and players has been completely eroded. I recall as a young kid going to watch non-league football with my father. There were wooden benches, the trainer had a sponge and a bucket of cold water and the fans of opposing teams swapped ends at half time so they could be behind the goal their team was attacking. Sounds silly now but football was really a people's sport then and not just a playground for the world's ultra wealthy.

It is good to see people on here saying they wouldn't go but unfortunately they are just a number now and would easily be replaced.

I've no idea how it's not seen as a conflict of interest. No club should be owned by the same people if they're able to compete against each other imo. Whether that be the RB clubs, us and Leuven etc. It's one thing Man City owners having links to Melbourne City, but two teams that can play in the same CL group is just ridiculous.

.. I  belive the chairman needs to relinquish his role from one of the two clubs or something like that, for it to be perceived as legal!!!

Going to be Spurs. Can't see the Qataris going for an Everton or Leeds.

they are only after a minority stake somewhere they can’t have total ownership..
