Twilight of career definitely. If he had a strong striker to hold the ball up and take players away creating space he could still have a role but BR don’t believe in setting up like that. Alas.

I just don't understand why Maddison isn't starting. He is either fit to play or he shouldn't even be on the bench. Surely its better to start him whilst we are trying to take in the initiative and take him off later on. Bringing him on when we are inevitably behind is just pointless.

Pretty even game but Brighton look more dangerous going forward. I think we will see a change up top on 65mins.

Even by recent standards that was atrocious by Vardy. Couldn't do anything right. 

 

They are so much better on the ball, really impressive playing out from the back but they haven't looked threatening. 

 

Pretty solid performance so far but that's it.

Even if he doesn’t have a single good touch of the ball for the next 18 months and scores 15 own goals, which Leicester fan will see him as anything other than by far and away the clubs greatest ever player.

 

His legacy is already secured, it doesn’t need protecting

Well usually when someone comes back from an injury they start on the bench probably due to lack of being match fit. He will come on I'm sure sooner or later.

Perfectly true but to be honest the service hasn't been up to much for most of the time without Madders

He needs far too much space to do anything. He can't run away from defenders and he can't finish when the box is packed.

I looked and thought it hit his stomach, would have been checked by VAR if Albrighton had not scored.

He is no longer able to get that extra yard on a player therefore struggles to get the opportunity for the shot. His reaction times have also increased.

The problem is he is so crucial for us. We don't really have that luxury.

Definitely but it shouldn’t matter that Albrighton scored the rebound, it’s still a red card offence.
