SK3Blue Posted 16 April 2024 Posted 16 April 2024 (edited) Looks like a sharp increase in ticket sales for the trip to the Emirates on Sunday. And travel has now sold out. Big improvement on the 9 of us that went to Everton away! Edited 16 April 2024 by SK3Blue 1
RonnieTodger Posted 16 April 2024 Posted 16 April 2024 Bottlejobs is extremely harsh, given that it was the team’s first ever FA Cup semi final. Conceding late on has been a huge issue this season however.
Leicesterpool Posted 16 April 2024 Posted 16 April 2024 I was encouraged from what seen on Sunday. Take the chances its Leicester going to wembley instead.
Jimmy Posted 17 April 2024 Posted 17 April 2024 Sophia Poor subbed on for Villa after their keeper got sent off, shame we allowed her to leave
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 20 April 2024 Posted 20 April 2024 Not that we were under any real threat, but Bristol City's loss to Liverpool earlier has ensured our WSL status for next season.

TheLittleBigMan Posted 21 April 2024 Posted 21 April 2024 (edited) Anywhere else to watch it? FA player is pants. Edited 21 April 2024 by TheLittleBigMan
Lineker's Lugs Posted 21 April 2024 Posted 21 April 2024 2-0 Russo. Poor clearance from Howard to set up the chance.
Lineker's Lugs Posted 21 April 2024 Posted 21 April 2024 3-0 Mead. Howard with another poor pass to give up possession.
Blueman1967 Posted 21 April 2024 Posted 21 April 2024 Never got going, and had few chances, 40,000 there as well good crowd
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 21 April 2024 Posted 21 April 2024 Given the vast difference in money thrown at the sides, a 3-0 defeat at Arsenal is about a par performance imo.
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 21 April 2024 Posted 21 April 2024 (edited) Crystal Palace almost certain to be the club to come up from the Championship to the WSL (barring a massive defeat to Sunderland in their last game coupled with a Charlton win). They've got 4 ex-Foxes in their squad - Demi Lambourne, Lia Cataldo, Annabel Blanchard and Aimee Everett. Edited 21 April 2024 by SouthStandUpperTier

Without that the relegation spot will be tied up from the start and the season will consist of dead rubbers for most teams, just like this season has been.

rugbyblue Posted 24 April 2024 Posted 24 April 2024 (edited) My daughter and I are Making it a football weekend (well Sunday and Monday) by going to see the ladies on Sunday. I see United have been given two blocks. That should make for a better atmosphere. Not usually segregated at the ladies games in my admittedly limited experience. They must bring a fair few away. TheLittleBigMan Posted 24 April 2024 Posted 24 April 2024 Tickets selling well for the man u game at home this Sunday. £8. What's not to like?

Chelsea had their own block earlier this season. Biggest support so far has been Arsenal who must have bought 1500 with them. Be interesting to see how many turn up Sunday. 1

Putting supporters of the same team all together lends itself to creating a better atmosphere. I hope so for my daughter's sake as she is really inspired by the women. 10 years ago, girls had no real female footballing heroes. I've read man utd have one of the bigger/louder supports in the WSL so looking forward to it. 2

Certainly better sitting with own fans, it was disappointing to have Arsenal in with us last week, and there wasn't many of us at Man City or Everton. Liverpool and Spurs with our own blocks was better. Looks like the family stand P3 is being sold for the first time this season, Sunday will be the biggest gate so far by the look of it. 1

I noticed that extra block was open too. Can only be a good thing. I can only see attendances going up, especially as some people are being priced out of the men's game. 2
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 28 April 2024 Posted 28 April 2024 (edited) 0-0 HT. Leitzig back and her usual brilliant self. Pulled off some class saves. Edited 28 April 2024 by SouthStandUpperTier
Jimmy Posted 28 April 2024 Posted 28 April 2024 some of our passing is so sloppy. Goodwin needs to back herself going down the line, you just know she's going to cut inside and nothing else
