Prices frozen…massively undervalued compared to the rest of the league, can’t go wrong for a £42 max

Like many, I don't have funds to watch the mens team at £39 to £45 a ticket on a regular basis but this is incredible value, 11 games for £42.

Good pricing, sadly theres still that football snobbery towards womens football. Attendances are slowly rising at the big clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U, Man City but for the rest Attendances still low for top level of English women's football. Maybe we could do what other teams to play a mens and womens game back to back on the same day. Have Leicester women kick off at 12pm on a Saturday with the men to follow at 3pm.

...not surprising, very weak in the middle of the park, runs around a lot but is ineffective!!!

The team looked a lot better when she was out, it was hard to see why she had previously kept her place in the team.

Looks?

Interesting that they claim to have bought her from us, i thought she was released - is a transfer from leicester now considered a coup?

Southampton just signing our ex players it seems. Who next?

...what is this constant association that we have with Southampton!!!

Now we are releasing Purfield, one of our quickest players in a team which lacks pace throughout the whole squad. I hope we have pulled off a coup or two in bringing in high-quality replacements for this team. Too often we break a team up to rebuild and we lose the team spirit forged from the season before.

She wasn’t gonna get a kick with Nevin in the side and is probably at a stage where she wants week in week out football. Imagine we’ll bring in either experienced cover at FB or bed in some youth.

I know we’re hoping to bring in a load more this summer

Sunderland AFC Women have signed 20-year-old former Leicester City attacker Ellen Jones following a successful trial.

Jones originally played with Bristol City in the WSL, before a spell with Colorado Buffaloes in the NCAA Division 1 in 2021.

She later moved to Leicester City but went on loan to Coventry United and made the Wales senior squad in April.

Head Coach Mel Reay told safc.com: “Ellen spent a week with us leading into the Celtic game and showed us what she is all about. She can play off both feet, has a good engine, a tenacious work ethic and an impressive attitude to learn. She will add further depth to our attacking options.”
