Being linked with Matias Soule again. Must have scouted him whilst watching Okoli.

 

He'd be an incredible coup, he's a very creative left footed right winger but I could see him being used in a 3-4-1-2 up front with an out an out striker like Cooper used Brennan Johnson. 

 

He can play attacking midfield too.

If there is any truth in this then BDR MUST be predominantly back up for the left or attacking mid.

Urgh I feel your pain, Ric. This seemed so perfect a deal for us to make, and yet...nada.

If nothing else happens apart from a proper number 10 came in, and we sent a few out on loan, I think we'd have enough to put up a good fight and have versatility to play various formations:

 

Hermansen, Stolarczyk, Ward

Ricardo, Justin, Kristiensen

Coady, Faes, Okoli, Souttar, Vestergaard, Nelson

Ndidi, Winks, Soumare, Choudhury, Braybrooke, (Golding?)

Alves (only current 'No.10')

Fatawu, Mavididi, DC-Reid

Vardy, Daka, Cannon

 

Loan out/sell: Iversen, Thomas, McAteer, Wanya

We need another striker. Someone more physical and besides that I’d be very happy going into the season.

Really depends what formation we go with, but if the idea is to go with a number 10, then personally I’d like to see another five come in.

The last 2 I think could be entirely dependant on how Braybrooke and Alves get on in pre-season

I’d potentially integrate Braybrooke as our 5th choice CM. 

 

Get Soumare out the door, then leave us with...

 

Winks, Ndidi, Back up to Winks, Choudhury and Braybrooke. 
 

I’d be content with that.
