Samu Posted 9 December 2005 Posted 9 December 2005 Apparently its a contender for Christmas number one. You've probably already heard it loads but I only heard it for the first time yesterday. What does everyone think? It's certainly interesting Whoops forgot the link JCB Song
syston_fox Posted 9 December 2005 Posted 9 December 2005 Its been around for months now and i still cant get enough of it! "im luke im five my dads bruce lee drives me round in JCB"
Nationwider Posted 9 December 2005 Posted 9 December 2005 It's a fantastic song. Deserves to be number one in its own right, but its a good contrast to all the usual shameful stabs at the Xmas market. Reminds me of "Shipbuilding" by Robert Wyatt. Dunno why, tho.
Katy Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 I heard it a while ago on E4 music its very inducing - its just a nice song.
Hitesh Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 heard it on radio 1 ages ago! i lvoe this song! Its quality...must be number 1!
SystonFox Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 when i 1st hear it i thought "whats this sh1te?!" the 2nd time i heard it i thought "this sh1te on again?" the 500th time (james blunt style play it as much as you can) it still fvcking sh1te
Sir JJ Wilcox Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 Boring it's played on radio 1 about 9 times a day now
Babylon Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 At first I hated it. I love it now, a really moving song when you realise what it's all about.
Leicester_Mad Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 i love this song - most the students im living with love it 2
Benji Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 yea was good when it was first posted on here a while back, the album is truely awful though
CasinoGee Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 Wellman played it to me today, one word, middleoftheroad.
Matt Posted 10 December 2005 Posted 10 December 2005 whats it all aboot then babs? I think its something about the bloke who wrote and sings it, has some kind of problems (Don't think it is but for example Dyslexia) so he got bullied at school, so his dad let him go to work with him and drive in his JCB, I think thats the story not sure but tis nothing like that. Babylon could tell you more (Obviously) yea was good when it was first posted on here a while back, the album is truely awful though What?! There's an album? Surly not? ...Oh dear!
Ajax Treesdown Posted 11 December 2005 Posted 11 December 2005 F**king w**k! As bad as the Crazy Frog.

Matt Posted 11 December 2005 Posted 11 December 2005 F**king w**k! As bad as the Crazy Frog. Not quite!
Head Honcho Posted 11 December 2005 Posted 11 December 2005 It's a fantastic song. Deserves to be number one in its own right, but its a good contrast to all the usual shameful stabs at the Xmas market. Reminds me of "Shipbuilding" by Robert Wyatt. Dunno why, tho. I thought the same. I think it's because the words dont really go with the music and so it's a bit stuttered.
Sparky Posted 11 December 2005 Posted 11 December 2005 its a real touching song , but it fockin shite
The People's Hero Posted 11 December 2005 Posted 11 December 2005 I quite like this particular song. A few of the album aren't bad either. Look out for it - Half These Songs Are About You.
Libertine Posted 18 December 2005 Posted 18 December 2005 it beat westlife to number one!! Good or bad? Not decided.
