LCFCCHRIS Posted 2 June 2024 Posted 2 June 2024 Anyone else think the atmosphere and mentality around the ground could really improve next season due to the backs to the wall nature of what awaits us? We will likely be fighting relegation with no budget, a new manager and a points deduction. Anything more than 17th by one point will be a bonus.
FoxesWalk Posted 2 June 2024 Posted 2 June 2024 I don’t know about anyone else but I fully expect to go straight back down after an inevitable and significant points deduction, and inability to spend. We could easily start this season on negative points, with a squad worse than we had in the championship, and no ability to add quality players, whilst trying to adapt to another new manager. 3
Bluetintedspecs Posted 2 June 2024 Posted 2 June 2024 Underdog fighting spirit and a siege mentality required on and off the pitch 👊 2 1

With the points deduction we might be looking at one of the lowest points scores in the PL era, if we leave the season with some dignity intact I'll be happy. 3
Foxin_Mad Posted 2 June 2024 Posted 2 June 2024 (edited) Our fans need to stop bring so pathetic, banging on about deductions, psr, blah blah. I hope the players and new manager don't have the same mentality. Get behind the club, overcome whatever shitty deduction the corrupt willy pullers give us and stick 32000 fingers up at the corrupt shuts next may! **** them all! Bring it on! Imagine if we got a 12 point deduction, huge fine, decimated squad and there was no mention at all on Foxestalk! Would be like some sort of Truman Show experiment! Our fans aren't pathetic for banging on about it. Of course we are going to be analysing it and talking about how it will affect us. 1

All of which is done for the benefit of football apparently.

No, “Your dad” will be booing when we are 3 down to Man City on the opening day.

They are making it seem like the end of the world and buying into the press bullshit. Wait and see what happens, deal with it! We haven't got any of this things and are unlikely to have any of those things. No point crying about what hasn't happened yet. A lot of people are being quite pathetic, saying we can't get a manager, the owners are shit, we will beat derby's record! Etc etc, get a grip! We are Leicester City...we will ****ing stay up! **** all the weak mentality ***** and the Premier League, EFL and any other shit corrupt ****!
ALC Fox Posted 2 June 2024 Posted 2 June 2024 First home game of the season: "we are staying up" echoing around the entire ground as the players take their positions before kick-off. Would set the tone for the entire season. 1

Sadly I think it'll be yet more apathetic "entertain us and we'll support you" reaction from the crowd, much as it's been for years. The worse we do, the less we'll be supported. Though maybe that'll sort the wheat from the chaff. 1

Out Foxed Posted 2 June 2024 Posted 2 June 2024 Anyone worrying about points deductions needs to get a grip. We just won the league, we're back in the prem. Enjoy the summer and if you need to, worry about next season when it starts.
