As mentioned in another thread, Foxes Talk is the single biggest contributor to negativity and poor stadium atmosphere. Like most online social forums it has become a cesspool of negativity and over magnified opinions.

Why do you spend time on here then?

Safe standing is a must to get the atmosphere bouncing!!! Where they put it is anyone’s guess as we seem to have the east stand singers next to the away fans and the corner of the kop, which looks good with the banners and flags.
Just wish the rest of our fans could contribute to a more intimidating and robust atmosphere that gets our team pumped up…..just saying

The club are taking a good while to announce who got on this from the FCC.

They're sat scrolling through their foxestalk post history to make sure the candidates are anti-Rudkin

Still waiting for a decent update from all parties concerned.

The first Year One FAB meeting is supposed to be this month.

There's no minutes produced from the FCC or the 90 minutes forum which have occurred 2 weeks plus from the event

Two weeks on from that message - we got the minutes from FCC etc after.

So where are we on the FAB then? Kick-off meeting was supposed to be September - silence.

Maybe it's just that everyone at the club knows how irrelevant and box ticking it is.

This exchange between @Foxes_Trust and myself yesterday was in another thread but it’s probably worth dropping in here as it’s more relevant.

@Foxes_Trust “FAB - the interview phase for the 3 positions available (from general applications from ST holders/members) is close to completion.

So we would expect that the club will announce who the 6 FAB fan representatives are soon, with the date of the first meeting to follow swiftly afterwards (so meeting in October)

We always felt the timescales to complete theapplication/interview process was optimistic”

My response

So this fan engagement plan which you were told was a priority and needed to be rushed through to hit certain deadlines continues to be behind all deadlines the club has set and that you agreed to? Not one single one hit. That’s embarrassing isn’t it or are you pleased with the progress / lies ?

So I assume as before when I raised this and was shot down you haven’t challenged the club at all for fear of upsetting those at the club that continue to take the pi55 out of you (as recognised and raised in your last trust meeting).

The trust and the club continue to fail with this priority project. The recruitment process is flawed, it’s just more jobs for the boys / cuddly crew. Are you delighted to be involved with such a mess of a project?

Just coming back to the trusts short term objectives, “To hold Leicester City Football Club and its owners to account for the highest standards of business management, and operational and commercial decisions that directly affect Foxes Trust members and the wider supporter base”

Are you doing this for your members with this Fan Engagement/ FAB project? If so could you explain how as the contradictions in this and what’s happening are confusing.

”would expect” - don’t know and have yet again failed to make the club accountable.

”swiftly” - what does that even mean? Assuming as the trust has no desire to upset Anthony that you mean “whenever the club likes…as always”?

You always felt the timescales were optimistic? Yet you absolutely agreed to them, shot me down for daring to raise the failures, failed to challenge the club on it or go above your contacts head to Whelan, and still let the club give you meaningless, empty promises.

The trust under the current regime is a joke. If the rumours are true about certain folk stepping down once they are on the FAB then that’s a good thing for the Trust but also absolutely abusing the position in the trust for self gain so you can snuggle up even more to Anthony. Those rumours may not be true but the rest stands and you, the FAB, the trust are not fit for purpose.

It’s an ego trip to be in the know. Power hungry. Embarrassing.

Your assumptions seem to be based on any delay being solely down to the club which is factually incorrect

In terms of the schedule for interviews, the timings were based on the availability of both the candidates and the other interview panel members (all of which had to juggle timings around their full time paid jobs), the club worked around the availability of both.

"Would expect" - an exact date has not been finalised and also what is released will be discussed with the 6 FAB fans reps before being published

"Swiftly" -  the date will be set following checking availability of all that will be part of the FAB, for the first meeting its important that everyone can attend (so its just a normal process for agreeing a meeting date)

The Football Supporters Association were part of the interview panel (as previously published) and are happy with the overall recruitment process that was agreed between the Club and the Trust, therefore the FSA don't believe the recruitment process is flawed (as you claim), as the FSA are looking closely at what takes place at all PL clubs regarding Fan Advisory Boards, their views should be taken notice of by all fans.

You also seem happy to insult the 104 fellow City fan applicants for an FAB role with "job for the boys" comments and particularly the six who will take on the responsibility before you know who they are.

Insulting? Nothing could be more insulting and as patronising as you telling a couple of fans “you should apply you’ll get on it as you’re female” or shall we brush over that?

Can you confirm or deny that you are looking to resign once the FAB is announced, therefore abusing your position for self gain and insulting the c500 members you claim to represent? Is this the real reason you have never ever pushed Anthony or the club for real answers?

The process has no specified criteria skillset wise, something the trusts Alan Digby strongly agreed with, but then he claims he’s an accountant when he is a bookkeeper so…

In the eyes of the club you need to be squeaky clean to be on the FAB and never have caused them any issues, so now we get down to selective recruitment based on if the club like them. You’ll never challenge the club and the FSA will guide you yes, the club will have the final say though, you know that. But aye, it’s not flawed.

Come to a grinding halt again hasn’t it?

Supposed to be a September kick off meeting. Halfway through October and no one is aware who’s been appointed or current direction of travel with the whole process.

Did you really expect any more.

Long as Top is getting his balls tickled that's all that matters.

That is the saying isn't it?

All sounds very on brand.

This done badly is probably worse than it not happening at all as they'll hide behind this and plenty will fall for it.

It's been (near enough) three weeks since your post now.

Has the interview phase been completed? Has a date for the announcement of the FAB representatives been set? Have the FAB representatives been selected yet?

If the answer to any of those questions is no, when will we be informed further?
