The same people that got the arse last season about us olaying it about with patience are now screaming keep the ball and pass it every time its launched.

The geriatrics will never be happy. Don't aim to please them and get in Potter.

I am ok with Potter, I was only trying to explain why people wouldn’t be happy with him, to someone who seemed determined not to understand, or I explained it really badly!  lol

I agree but you can't swing the Arsenal game as a positive.

Our stats for the game were similar to what Bolton managed midweek in the LC.

We looked like a plucky League 1 or 2 side in the cup.

Why am I trying to swing it as positive? Saying it’s not the right place to lambast someon, does not make it a good thing. :dunno:

I am not defending him, but focus should be on games we expect better, not Arsenal. Like you have done.  :dunno:

Not saying you're defending him apologies if it came across that way. I know people will say it's Arsenal but with how poor we've started the season Arsenal shouldn't be a 'free hit' game, I think it should spell the end of Cooper's time here. It's clear that Copper was brought in on the fact of us expecting a points deduction now that isn't happening I think we should cut our ties with Cooper and go for Carlos Corbetan from West Brom.

Think if it happens, it will be during the international break.

The club have demonstrated repeatedly that that is the style of play the owners want. The current manager has openly said as such. We built a squad to play this way.

He's just not delivering on it.

Unless Top absolutely bottles it and we hire someone Moyes-esque because he thinks we need to, Cooper's replacement will be another technician.

Did I say Potter would be bad choice? I was only pointing that he is regarded as sharing similar tactical style with Maresca during his time with us, and that raised plenty of negativity despite winning the league. Agree that Cooper thus far seems some distance from the perceived desired style the club seem to want.

I'll be shocked if it doesn't happen considering the board have learned from their mistakes apparently. Let's see if they have.

Simply just how poor he is at making subs is enough for me to want him gone.
Didn’t make a sub till the 85th!! Minute then makes 4 after the 92nd.

Fatawu & Edouard coming on in the 98th minute lol is he trying to humiliate Abdul or something?

Would love to see out of interest how many goals do we concede after his some of his substitutions tbh

Cooper saying the scoreline “could be seen as a little unfair”.

No one can say he’s this honest manager at press conferences when rambles on like that.

He’s in full PR mode. If it wasn’t for Mads they could have been out of sight, look at any of the stats and the result was far from unfair 🤯

I think he runs Brendan close for the most deluded manager we've had.

I don't think the board have learned from their mistakes and I predict they'll leave sacking Cooper too late same as what happened with Rodgers. Hopefully the day Cooper leaves, King Power puts us up for sale. I genuinely don't think they want to be here anymore either.

You said “we won the league” with I assume Maresca which is obviously true, to which I said “it was the championship” which is also true.

We we’re discussing Potter, who is a bit similar to Maresca, and I made the point that

  • Plenty of people were seemingly fed up with Maresca last season due to his patient style
  • Plenty of people were also claiming he would be found out in the EPL with this squad (unlike in the Championship)

Therefore it is absolutely not ridiculous.

I can see you cucking hard, but you can’t change what you wrote. I can only

assume you were one of the ‘copper in’ crowd and are now desperate to argue against any alternative because you can’t bare to admit the bloke is a moron and tactically inept.

you’ve said potter in the bin because people may moan, we’ve got 90 odd pages of people mainly moaning about cooper, so on that he should be in the bin, don’t pass go and took straight to the incinerator so he never darkens another football club’s door

I did say in the bin, but as a comment on people’s thoughts expressed on here about Potter previously, personally have no issues with Potter.

You have arrived at a conclusion with zero evidence. I have stated repeatedly we could be better and would prefer a change.
You seem to have some sort of issue with me, bit weird, but whatever

Oh, and he isn’t called Copper, he is called Cooper.

I don't think the owners give a shit what the fans opinion of the style of play is, tbh. They care about the outcomes.

Hopefully not because you’d struggle to get any decent coach to take over a club for sale

I have no issue with anyone, it’s a forum on the internet ffs, it’s just words, and I respond to words that I agree with or find nonsense, and your first point was indeed nonsense. Go back, reread it. Don’t take the internet to heart

You are determined to read something in what I wrote that is not there, that is what’s weird mate.
