I'm not sure winning trophies makes you safe at Chelsea, they've form for sacking those, too.

So Everton getting their arses handed to them. 

Another shit side.  They're one of a few reasons I don't get why some fans seem to be making out that our squad isn't good enough.  It's not good enough to get us Europe, nor top half.  Even top of the bottom half, but it's only got to do better than a bad bunch, and that bad bunch is a decent chunk of clubs at the moment.

 

We got dicked, West Ham got battered and Everton are getting totally shit on AND YET none of use are in the bottom 3.  There's enough crap in the division that we only need to be slightly less shit than 3 shit teams.  And currently there's about 6.

Most definitely this. I absolutely believe we've got the squad to be better, ok, slightly less shit, than 3 of the other shit teams. We just need a bit of organising.

Yeah, but if you saw Southampton or Ipswich, as teams they try and keep going, whereas Everton are like us on todays showing, they seem very flat and uninspired despite arguably having better squads than Ipswich or Saints.

That is why its never really about the players down the bottom and more about the team and its setup/cocaching. Although I do agree that there is so such low quality this year, our level, our consistency does not have to raise too much to avoid the drop.
