Ange is now the dead man walking among football managers.

His post match interview was quite difficult for him.

I think ironic, how Daniel Lavy sacked Harry Redknapp even though we he was fired from his position Tottenham finished fourth... only missing out on champions league due to Chelsea's champions league winning final. He fired Pochettino just months after their first champions league final, Mourhino was sacked just days before a league cup final... yet Ange remains in charge despite the team sitting 14th and out of the fa cup and league cup. Maybe Levy is Arsenal fan in disguise lol

This was one of the most bizarre post match interviews I've seen in my life. Idk what Ange was trying to do there. Disgusting responses, trying to play both mental and physical health cards all the time and avoiding the fact he's responsible for the nonsense tactics.

He had the audacity to talk about an agenda against him! He's another overpaid, overrated fraud, paid millions for doing absolutely nothing. He's so arrogant, he has no ethics, morals or decency to resign waiting for the sack to get more money.

His players are exactly like him, frauds, it doesn't matter if they're 17 or 21yrs old. If they can't play every week or every 3-4 days they can go to National League South or do a normal job. The too many games excuse is getting tiresome now. Some of them are paid £1000 per minute.

End of rant.

Sadly for us, Top and Levy have much in common as club owners.

No clue about actual football and how it needs the fans . No understanding of the commitment supporters make week in and week out. No investment when it's so badly needed.

If they went on The Apprentice with their business models, they'd be fired in round 1.

They're not fit to run a football club because they have no understanding of the fundamentals.

Yes, ultimately clubs are businesses which need to make money for investments but in so many cases investors and owners have to pump billions into them. I think so many clubs like ours have become vanity projects and the appeal for the owners/investors has started to wear very thin.

They should do the right thing for their clubs and sell.

But they won't because they want this "trinket" of owning an EFL club because it's some kind of status symbol.

Just **** off and invest in F1 or something. Leave us alone and stop asset stripping our football leagues.

Arsenal OUT.
Liverpool OUT.
Chelsea OUT.
Tottenham OUT.

Man Utd and Man City terrible

The FA Cup is there for the taking for one of the so-called ‘smaller’ clubs. 🤝

Man City aren't great either, just edged past league one leyton orient. I mean Man City wouldn't want to go Villa or Newcastle in the next round. So huge chance of seeing sort of an unfancied side reaching the final.

Playing at a ground like Brisbane Road is totally different to playing at Villa Park or St James' Park though. That's the beauty of the FA Cup, great teams are brought down a level when they're away at a small football league club due to crowd being on top and pitch being rougher. In reality nobody will want to draw Manchester City.

Great season to be in it at this stage. Not even for the "smaller" clubs but those that haven't won it in years. Hopefully we get a winner that isn't either Manchester club.

Wish we got through.

As we are out who would you like to see win it?

Me too. We have this debate on here every season I think but I will never understand people who claim not to care about the cup. Especially when you're having a shit season. Always crap to get knocked out before the 5th round and see smaller clubs progressing and generating a buzz.

TV Companies are having nightmares with most of their favorite big boys out, plus FA coming to terms their regular six will not even make it to semis.

BBC coverage yesterday they spent 30 minutes after the match talking about the problems of Tottenham... you only needed violin playing to suit somber atmosphere in the studio. Spoke to a colleague at work a die hard Villa fan, he said they spent 29 minutes talking about Tottenham, 15 seconds about Villa pre match... yet who won? It's like the TV companies are wanting us to feel sorry for clubs like Tottenham... why?

On a realistic note, taking away the football league clubs, I'd like to see a manager get the success they deserve so for that reason I'd go with Villa or Bournemouth.

I know Villa won't be a popular choice but they seem to operate well in terms of making money on players and ultimately Emery has taken them from a relegation battle to one of the best teams in the league. Yesterday I heard during the game it was something like their 11th win in a row at Villa Park.

Bournemouth took pelters when they brought Iraola in but he has, again, taken them from a relegation battle to one of the better teams in the league. I know they've spent a bit of money but lost his main striker this summer. Would be nice to see a real outsider, historical small side, like Bournemouth win it. Put them up there alongside the likes of Wigan and Portsmouth (granted Portsmouth's history is stronger).

Winds me up when people don't want to take it seriously. It's different to the league so I will never buy this "concentrate on the league" rubbish. If we'd have gone through Friday all it would have taken is an "easier" draw in the 5th round (say Plymouth or Cardiff at home) and then suddenly we've a massive chance of the quarters.

It's the best cup competition and I love it personally.

I like your reasoning here. Don't mind Villa. Possibly because no Villa fans bending my ear in my neck of the woods. Bournemouth doing so well too. In London Fulham have been overshadowed by Chelsea and the rest so wouldn't mind them too much. No big honours either.

Agree. Thankfully when the cup is mentioned we don't have to wince waiting for the lost 4 finals and never won it titbit. Winning the league was phenomenal but getting our hands on the FA Cup was my dream

Agree about Fulham. Forgot about them. I like how they have progressed under Silva and are a decent side again this year. Wouldn't mind seeing them win it.

Villa will surely fancy their chances but I could still see United jamming it again. They seem to play better this season when there’s a bit of pressure on it

Yes, even an off Man City could stumble to it as well
