Where did you read this? Surely Emery would have wanted Monchi here.. That kind of footballing shake up wouldn't wash with our higher ups. I don't think it was ever an option..

I suspect this was part of the reason why it never happened.

Nah. Just shows what a monumental balls up we have made in the past few years. Some of these clubs were barely on our radar in a football sense and are now streets ahead.

Oh yeah you’re completely right. Was just making a joke haha

There’s always been a lot in Melton.

Try living in Lincolnshire.

They're everywhere. Like shit in a field.

I know. The whole thing should have the club raging at what has gone wrong but they barely seem bothered.

Probably the most cursed season ever. The club probably still think we’ll be absolutely fine. That’s been the mentality for a while. I’ve given up caring now.

I was at Brighton v Forest. Forest are an extremely unlikable side. Lots of diving and negative football. Brighton were poor though (probably knackered). It was a very unpleasant experience all round. From where I was sat I thought the ref was very poor. Didn't seem to give Brighton a lot.

It wouldn't have been an option simply because Aiyawatt would have had to get rid of his little Renfield and get an actual DoF in, not because Emery wasn't interested in taking the job if it became available.

How spawny in all honesty and lucky are bloody Forest.  Last 3 rounds scraped through on penalties.  They are going to be the first team in history to win it without technically winning a bloody game.  Penalty shoot outs don't bloody count.  Jammy buggers.

Their fans (well at least some) don't think so, quite the opposite, they see VAR as trying to stop them progressing.

Of the clubs remaining who would you prefer to win it?  I don't mind as long as Forest or Man C don't.

Palace have been to the final twice and narrowly lost both times. Their fans deserve a trophy.

That is a good shout. Palace looked good yesterday. I thought they had a good end of season last term. Certainly recovered from a bad start this and wouldn't begrudge them a cup win

Their fans are deluded.  They have been fortunate this season with lots of decisions.  Lady luck is definitely on their side.

Bournemouth and Palace have never won a major trophy.  For that reason alone happy for either to break their duck.

They are the most deluded fanbase in English football to be honest.

Weird that a small minority on here would enthusiastically agree with such a ridiculous point, mind.

This game has been a prime example as to why footballers dive. Almost every time a player hits the deck, regardless of how slight the contact is, the ref gives a foul. That penalty was a disgrace.

The players won't do it if the referees don't give them.
