He actually caused a lot of problems for Dalot who fouled him 3 times and Casemiro struggled against him when trying to help out. The problem was the bit after he’d beaten his man when his decision making usually went wrong. That being said he was one of the few catching the eye for us alongside Buonanotte and Winks. No one was great but I think he was better than 2/10!

Tbf I was raging when I got in from the game last night so my posts on several player threads might have been "out of touch".

 

Dalot should have been booked, Fatawu did draw three fouls from him first half. But every cross hit Dalot or whichever defender it was, constant dribbling without passing and don't even start me on the shot from the half way line.

 

I think both Buonanotte and Fatawu need to calm down sometimes but that probably comes with experience.

experience but also honestly tactics that aren't just "give it to them and expect them to pull a rabbit out the hat". We're setting up and expecting a 19 and a 20 year old to do something magical as our sole strategy for getting points on the board?
