Wife's 50th is next year... Sint Maarten, we love, or Curacao?

We absolutely love Sint Maarten/St Martin, but looking to surprise her for her big date... She took me for my 50th this year to St Maarten... I've got good rates there for next October, but heard Curacao? on spelling, might be better... thoughts???

Curacao, like the rest of the Dutch Antilles, is as boring as shit and surprisingly crime ridden. Unless you are smuggling drugs or ripping off Europeans with online bitcoin/betting scams, I see no reason to go. 
 

*the marine ecology centre is awesome, but is only accessible to people engaging in a marine biology project. 
 

There are far better Caribbean islands.

I've been to St Martin a few times, A lovely place to Holiday.  A lot more cultureal interests anf things to do in St Martin.

 As you know you can spend Euros in St Martin so your money goes further. 

 

I've been to Curacao also, You'd be better going to Florida than Curacao as it's mainly a Beach Holiday.

I've been to Curacao. It's ok but nothing special. Aruba is nicer if you want a beach holiday in that part of the world.

The nicest place in the Caribbean is the British Virgin Islands.  The Landscape,  The Scenery, Colours of the growth and the Birds singing in the Trees are a sight to behold.

 

The Beeches are pristine with crystal clear Water.
