I like that he has standards and can see through those above. I also sympathise with what he has inherited.

 

But, I don’t think he is tactically any good. He doesn’t seem to have any ideas and whilst the squad is awful and he is missing most of the few good players we have, he still isn’t getting the best of what he has.

 

As I have said, I see no rush to sack him. We are done. Nobody is going to come in and save us now. I’m happy for him to ruffle things up for a bit longer and we go again next season.

Ruud out. Cooper out.Everyone out. I said Cooper needed more time and that getting a new manager in when they did was risky. Well the majority got what they wanted and now we are going to have to suffer. Ruud won't of course, he will get a nice little pay off for being inept. We are probably just getting over paying Cooper off. In all seriousness surely you pick the best players you have. I don't think he has done that today. Spurs are on a poor run and if we have a go we might have got something. This season has been a massive let down.

Let’s face it, without investment in the squad the team will always look shit compared to everyone else in the league.

I genuinely don't understand how he can look at the performances in the league in this run and seriously think the tactics are absolutely fine, nothing needs to change there

 

Yeah fair enough the squad is shite, but persisting with tactics that clearly don't work already is not going to give you any chance of turning around the run of form

Peter Taylor was allowed to stay after 8 losses on the bounce (which I think we'll have after today!) and we know how that ended, albeit early on the following season! - as luckily for him we'd had a decent first half to the season and then beat Spurs ironically to end that horror run to end up 13th! However this is a different scenario altogether really.
