Do other ticket offices sell all of the crap tickets first like this?

Just seems to be an absolute shambles almost every away game.

Don’t know about other clubs, but we excel at making it as frustrating as possible - and Goodison is typically the prime example (the club have confirmed that all lower tier need to be sold first).

I understand why they do it for some evening KOs (where there’s a doubt over us fulfilling our allocation), but there seems no logic to doing it for Sat 3pm. The only thing I can think of is that selling in smaller batches makes it easier for the staff to locate the actual tickets before posting…??

So I brought mine this morning in a RV seat and I should have waited for other blocks to open. Absolute awful way of selling tickets. I don think I ll bother again . Everything the club does is shambolic

Totally agree - absolutely no need and basically the most loyal fans get the worse seats

Totally agree with you. The ticket office manager is about as useful as a chocolate tea pot in a volcano

Every away game is sold out, so can someone please explain why the idiots in the ticket office open certain blocks first. Why not all at the same time?

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure it’s mandated by the home club in a “just in case” scenario (Liverpool went close to the wire as an example). Maybe they don’t receive the tickets all in one bulk delivery and they get multiple “drops” from the home club? Plus, every home club would rather it go to home fans, purely from a financial perspective. It pays to make it more difficult, while staying within the allocation rules.
