Picture the scene …. After lifting the FA Cup Aiyawatt and KP decide to sell the club. 
 

The new ownership preside over changing our model, oversee our relegation to the championship whilst not acting on Rodgers until too late. 
 

Sign multiple shirt sponsorship deals with shady betting and crypto currency businesses. Multiple PSR breaches, following a root and branch internal review offer Players like Coady and Winks massive contracts. Hire and fire 3 full time managers in 18 months. 

 

Cancel paying loyal and hardworking staff before Christmas without any notice.  Oversee our first ever points deduction which leaves us on the brink of relegation to league one and potential financial meltdown. 

 

Now answer this if it wasn’t Aiyawatt and KP I guarantee more would be up in arms at how we are being run into the ground and join the protests. 

 

This is about our club which will  always be bigger than any owner, family or company.  142 years of history, of being Leicester City Football Club.

And exactly how do you suggest we ensure that whoever buys the Club isn't a worse 'fraud', who uses borowed money for the purchase, which he then secures against the Club, before asset stripping whatever's left and b*ggering off?

Yes I'm aware of the protests, But we haven't been taking over have we ?. As was implied in the post I responded too.

It doesn't take agreat deal of brain - power to realise that the implied question was 'what next if the protesters achieve their aim'.

Top has taken a comfortable top 8 Premier league club with lots of young high value players onto the brink of league one ans massive financial issues in about 6 years.

 

Best of luck to anyone that thinks they can do a worse job than that.

I'm not condoning the neglect, and there is obviously much wrong with Club.....but blindly seeking to oust the board and owners, without any idea of who might replace them is surely just as nonsensical.  I don't have any solutions to offer, but endlessly shouting 'King Power Out' doesn't actually sound like a solution either.

The frightening thing is that someone has the mindset to have created this and hundreds, likely thousands, share the same view.

 

A sizeable percentage of our ‘fanbase’ are 100% complicit in the biggest downfall in English football.

So to flip it, what if the next owners aren't incompetent buffoons and actually take us on to positive things. What have these lot got to do for you to think it's time for a change?

That would be great, but as you say, what if?  I'm really not an appologist for King Power, bu there are an awful lot of shysters, frauds and incompetant dreamers in the world.

Genuine answer: the Football Governance Act passed last year places much more stringent tests on prospective owners. However it is limited in its provisions on existing owners, which is why it didn’t really do anything to address Sheffield Wednesday’s issues. It’s not perfect, but it makes it more likely that the situation you describe won’t occur.

Ultimately it’s just two different ways of destroying a football club. Our current ownership is probably in the top 5% worst ownership you could have. There’s statistically much more chance of improving.

Yes, Top has messed things up but he deserves a chance to put things right again.

 

But equally this can all be traced back to the Accident which I predicted was the worst thing that could have happened to the Club.
