He is a master-manipulator with an autocratic/dictatorial leadership style (insecurity?)............that's all you need to know really. 

 

What follows is all about others either failing to see the reality, or being too afraid to challenge it for fear of being alienated/losing their jobs.

Lehman Bros is a great business case study of what happens when intelligent/experienced people fail to challenge bad decisions for fear of losing their jobs

You give him too much credit. There is a sole decision maker in the organisation, it is the Chairman. His Chief Football Officer has brown nosed his way into influence and is now the perfect secretary passing up decisons and handing down tasks and is also the perfect s**t shelter and deflector for Aiyawatt and his incompetence.

Youre assuming that he is accurately passing up the right information and handing down tasks correctly...?

That idea relies on Top being interested, a nepo baby in Thailand more interested in Polo… just isn’t micromanaging decisions. I bet he thinks about LCFC a (tiny) handful amount of times a week.

 

Rudkin makes the day to day decisions. Why else would they invent an even loftier “Chief Football Officer” role for him
