This is the chant to get behind and the message to send to the club.

“Rudkin’s a c**t” is ineffective. For Top it reinforces his thinking that the scummy legacy fans are the problem. How can idiots like these be conducive to his match day experience?

It also offers no threat to his fragile billionaire's ego, or his Thai respect for authority. It doesn’t include him. He can sit comfortably and shake his head.

The chant needs to clearly include The Board, the ownership, and be something that the whole crowd is willing to sing (including dads and kids).

Us legacy fans have used this chant (semi-effectively) before, we know the words, it’s simple and is aimed at everything wrong with our club.

Let’s dust it off and sing it loud and long.

SACK THE BOARD!

Be handy if he turned up once in a while to hear it. Missing in action again last night and a Parrot must be writing his programme notes.

Can't believe I'm actually having to entice protests but here I am..

here's several to hopefully kick-start some kind of movement:

1. WE WANT RUDKIN OUT SAY WE WANT RUDKIN OUT. (Heard in phases already so nice and simple to start off.)

2. GET OUT OF OUR CLUB, JON RUDKIN, GET OUT OF OUR CLUB.

3. WE WANT OUR LEICESTER BACK.

4. I DONT CARE ABOUT RUDKIN, HE DONT CARE ABOUT ME, ALL I CARE ABOUT IS LCFC.

5. JON RUDKIN, WHAT A W

Feel free to say how petty and cringe this is but tell me what we're actively doing to stop it?

The clubs dying before our very eyes, and it's time they either step up or step aside.

I personally think it would have even more effect if he hears it whilst watching us on his firestick!!

If we want rid of Rudkin then include Top, Rudkin will become the fall guy

This is the approach to take. Everything so far has been aimed at the players/managers. The board are the problem, and we’ve been managed into the ground. It’s going to take many many years to come back from this (if at all). The next drop is going to put us down for a long time.

Surely this needs thinking through. 'Sacking' King Power' doesn't make sense. Even if we got a multi-trillionaire they couldn't spend money due to PSR. Top is plenty rich enough and is clearly a good and responsible man and we should never forget that. Where I do agree is that Rudkin definitely, and Whelan by implication, have under performed for too long and should have gone a few years ago. Top needs to be more ruthless than he has been so far, just like his Dad would have been

Don’t mind and joined in with ‘we want Rudkin out’, but being there with my boy I didn’t like the Rudkin’s a c**t chant. Other chants are fine and I think more people are on board.

Straight back down Leicester City has a better chance of building round the stadium. It was a great chant last year.

If Top was clearly a good and responsible man then he’d fire those around him. He doesn’t get a free pass and enough is enough.

We’ve been here before, remember when we wanted Barry Pierpoint and his Gang of Four out!
Posters were handed out pregame and people stood at kick off holding up a simple and clear message.

We chanted before and after games and eventually won.

We need the same tactics again.

I'm not sure aiming everything at Rudkin is right, it's so much more widespread than that. Calling for King Power to go is never going to happen with this fanbase.

I suspect banners will be more effective than chants, as it allows for a bit more reasoning. I liked the "The time for change is now" one from a few years back, as it didn't just pin point all the blame at one person.

There was also the one about Barry’s packet of sweets and his cheeky smile… but that was maybe a little too far

Rudkin isn't on the board :D

Rudkin isnt a statutory director but is very much part of the board make up, no ? We have senior roles throughout which make up the board make up. The FD, the General Counsel, the Communications Director, the Commercial Director are all non-stat directors (GC is comp sec) but just based on the role you would assume they made up the "board". Otherwise, the role and title wouldnt make sense.

cross posting this from a post I made back in December…

I want to love Top, but so many things are stacking up against him - the total absence of the promised root and branch review following relegation being top of my personal list.

I don't live local anymore so can't get to many games, but I have been watching the matches and today was a new low on top of other new lows. On it's own, that might be fine, but this is starting to feel like a death spiral we won't get out of, and as others have said, if we do get relegated, I fear we might be proper ducked, what with he EFL sharpening their knives and all.

If he stood up straight, grew some balls, and cleared out the Exec level, I might reconsider my judgement of him, but nothing he's done so far leads me to think he will, so rather than booing Danny Ward (I agree he isn't good enough, but booing him doesn't help), maybe we need to let those in the Prawn Sandwich seats know how we feel.

Top, Top, wherever you may be

What have you done to Leicester City

While we thank KP, for everything you've done

We think it's time for you to be gone

My only concern is if not KP... then who?

Just a thought, but would something that thanks Vichai for making a dream come true and asking Top not to let that go to waste work better?

I feel the "I'm not angry, just disappointed" works best with characters like Top? It makes them feel like it's their action and decision.

I'm no chant meister, so apologies in advance for the lame effort, but just to use a popular one and tweak it to show what I'm getting at:

Vichai had a dream,

He bought a football team,

Gave us two trophies and made us all dream,

Now we look bad, which makes us all sad

Top bring our team back, we know that you can

I know. I'll get my coat. But words to that effect.

The club and the people there are capable of turning things around if they want to put in the effort. Look at last season, good manager choice, some decent recruitment and we saw results. We've had the same a few times, see Rodgers when he first came in.

My biggest issue is the lack of consistency in direction and planning (that covers a lot, from managers to overarching transfer strategy) and allowing too much power to managers. This is a common theme now and we end up paying the price over and over again.

How hard is it to have scouts who are constantly monitoring managers around Europe? Monitoring successful transfer strategies and looking to mirror what's done well. We were at our best when Walsh came in and was an innovator in his field at the time. Pearson allowed people like Rennie to innovate and do things differently and we reaped the rewards.

We just seem stagnant. Someone, somewhere in the club needs to start making proactive decisions to restart all the behind the scenes stuff. It's absolutely imperative to have that all spot on. If those there can't do it, or are against change then they need to be gone.
