Let's see Borthwick try to play that type of rugby against a team other than Italy.

Sadly, it's more likely that Wales will finally bring their run of losses to an end next week..

We'll see.

A performance like the first half against Ireland or the second against Scotland and a win definitely isn't impossible but we'll still be a long way from favourites.

I wasn't surprised Scotland won but I was disappointed by how easy we made it for them in the first half. The confidence and organisation gained in the Ireland game all just went out the window.

England won't have a late game (Spursy ) meltdown like the Scotch did, if we give them a big early margin it'll just be over.

Crowd will need to be up for it.

"Pelters" is a bit chip on the shoulder, think that's a tad over the top.

Problem with Ireland fans is just a very specific type of fan that's unfortunately the most vocal on social media. The D4 head, smug Leinster cvnts that have gotten increasingly insufferable over the last decade.

The majority of the rugby world know they don't represent the whole Irish fan base but they are really ****ing annoying and arrogant is the right word.

They don't represent the entire Leinster fanbase (though it often feels like it) let alone Munster, Ulster and Connacht.

Agree to disagree. Not sure if pelters was over the top really, the knives were out last weekend for sure which is fair enough if a team has releative success. f France hammer Scotland later everyone just expects it and says well done France hard luck Scotland.

Saying that, like you I'm basing it on social media so if we were basing everything on social media South Africans would be the worst people in the world, which they aren't when you know some Saffers.

Morale of the story is as always is probably just to avoid social media

Ireland have been dreadful this tournament aside from 20 minutes v England and 40 minutes v Scotland. The decline has begun.

At the start of the year I really wanted to win this years championship as I think it will be a while before we challenge again but like you say we've been generally poor compared to the last couple of years bar the odd flash so no complaints from me. I wouldn't have begrudged a late Italian win at all.

The hope is that we've thought we had declines in the past and bounced back quickly with those, not sure about this one but hope I'm wrong. Our under 20s went from not losing a 6 nations u20s match in 3 years to getting the wooden spoon this year.

As for Italy, credit to them, their defence stood firm despite injuries and cards.

I don’t really know what’s lying in the Leinster depths but 9 and the centres seem like positions where the drop off is huge, and the back row is nowhere near as good as a few years back.

NZ player jokes aside key players getting older, drop off with the wings was clear last weekend too although the outcome wouldn't have changed much

Love a bit of Danny Care. Would be great to have a beer with him.

I say it every year but you just can't beat the Welsh anthem at home. One of the best things about international Rugby.

Sounds ridiculous but I'm surprised players don't head it more often when they have no chance of catching a pass
