What was the loan with the Aussie bank for? Do we need cash flow to service the wage bill ?

It used to forward fund transfers but you question why the need for cash now with the collateral of PL Tv money / parachute payments

Effectively 3 points from safety, the equivalent of 1 win. Lost 8 out of 9 and we choose to do... Nothing. We've even been given room to manoeuvre by other clubs bidding for our players, and we've turned them down bar Cannon. The only explanation for this is that the board are incompetent and clearly don't care. Another transfer window wasted, the only signing being Coulibaly who still can't displace our already horrific full backs.

This is a really good question. Feels to me like its to pay the bills/wages. No money actually being spent by the owner on it.

Just taking out loans - similar to Glazers at United?

There's no plan, these charlatans have been winging it for years.

It’s incredibly we were ever good with this lot running the show.

The plan was on the boardroom table ... when Jon knocked his red wine all over it .... Susan dropped her caviar on it so it now looks a right mess .... so the plan is actually working ..... the club is a right mess

****ing no chance mate. Sorry. If they were that committed to the style of football we saw under Maresca, then there's no way that they would have appointed Steve Cooper and then RvN. I know we were a hard sell with everything hanging over us but with all the professional football managers world wide, they could have at least taken a chance on a manager who was inkeeping with that vision.

Glazers was them wedging their own money though rather than others. The sort of thing the club paid £120m plus off the other week because the rules have tightened up

For all their faults, they actually got it spot on last season. They found a manager with a specific style, and lets be honest, they planned pretty much perfectly for Maresca’s style. Last season’s summer transfer window was near on perfect. He did his job, got us promoted, then threw a curveball by leaving.

Then the board fvcked up the plan by appointing the wrong guy, who wanted to deviate away from Maresca’s style, only really cared about wanting Premier League experience, now unsurprisingly we’re in another mess.

That appointment of Cooper and the summer transfer window has set us back, they’ve pretty much pissed away a season.
