Yes.

He'll achieve it on Friday: penalty in the 64th minute, then a scruffy toe-poke rebound from the keeper, 2 inches from the line in the 94th minute.

He is on 198 right?

198 for LCFC, I think. I presume that's what the OP is referring to?

He surely hits 200 this season unless he gets injured? Probably on Friday v. Brentford. ;)

181 league goals, I think. The only way he manages 200 league goals is if we get relegated and he stays on next season.

Sod all chance of him getting 200 PL goals, as he's on about 143.....150 might be achievable?

Wikipedia has him at 316 career goals now, but that includes his non-league stints at Stocksbridge Park Steels, Halifax and Fleetwood.

He was written off back end of 2020/21, then had an excellent output in 2021/22. Was written off again in 2022/23 and spearheaded us to the title in 2023/24 playing more sparingly.

He's done pretty well in terms of goals and assists this season but he needs his minutes managing and we are limited by playing him every game despite the opposition.

Also needs more than El Khannous around him to provide him adequate service.

Our best two attacks were basically him running with the ball out wide and both times he totally messed it up. I can’t believe people can’t see how poor he is now. I don’t know why we’d expect anything different, he’s playing way too many games and he’s 38! Saliba and Gabriel won’t have an easier game all season.

Not signing a striker in the summer was a huge mistake and the club have let us all (and Jamie) down badly.

Will get to 200 but have doubts over the 150 PL goals and overtaking Owen, which is a massive shame. Next season in the Championship will effectively end that challenge as did last season

He needs his minutes managing much better than they currently are being. We are running him into the ground playing him 90 minutes every week. It’s not helping the team & it isn’t helping him.

Yes but won’t do it this season, needs to stay another year and do it in the championship.

13 games left and you don't think he will manage 2 goals?

It's hard watching him being ineffective at this level so could be grim next season if he stays which I think is unlikely:vardy:

Many on here said the same  on 2 years ago when he only managed 3 goals in the PL then he went on to score 20 don't get the hate that Vardy gets on here

Agree  not sure he will manage 7 from 13 don't help that we never get penalties anymore use to add 7 or 8 to his total most seasons

He’s not playing very well at the moment but I think he will score two goals more this season

Not hate but I know you can't ever criticise or talk down Leicesters greatest ever without certain people acting like you've pissed in their porridge.

Whatever he did 2 years ago he is now 2 years older and at 38 the human body generally isn't going to be too effective at professional football.

I’ve 60 years of watching under my belt, and Vardy is without question the greatest player we’ve had in that period.

But I hope and pray he leaves or retires at the end of this season. I couldn’t bear to watch even further deterioration in the Goat. Let him please score the goal that keeps us up and call it a day!

We can dream, can’t we?!?

Dunno, can see him scoring his 199th, then jumping into the crowd where someone lights off a flare. He is then banned for potentially concealing the identity of said individual.

As others have said, the issue isn’t Vardy, it’s the fact we are literally running him into the ground by starting him in pretty much every single game we can, I was actually shocked to see him omitted from the Man Utd cup match,.

The fact that we have no real viable alternative to start games and give him a chance to stay fresh and therefore more effective js such a sorry state of affairs and sums up the current situation at the club.
