As much as they'll be loads of pessimism, just like last time, there really isn't any excuse for not challenging for the title again. Sadly they know this too and that's why they've adopted the mentality of going down with PSR compliance is better than going for it and staying up.

The players you have named will all be angling for moves in the summer they aren’t sticking around..

we won’t be selling the majority of the squad, that just won’t happen, it’ll be similar to last time, one or two for 20m+ and a couple of deadwood, and regardless the point I was making is if they do we have players who can equally come in and do well in the championship, Skipp was Norwich’s player of the year in a promotion push not long ago, Fatawu is two years on from bossing it. The level drop is humungous prem to championship, it’s why Ipswich have arguably the three best attacking mids in the championship last year and have had barely any output from all three with Delap in front of them

With this exact squad in place we will walk to the title again. Top will again think that everything is fine. The reality is, we had 9 straight years in the PL enjoying unprecedented success. As much as this season has been horrific, we still have the core of a very very good championship squad and one that could have been good enough for the PL with just 3-4 good signings.

However, when we go down, Mads will join Chelsea. Bilal will go. N’didi won’t stick around this time. Soumare will also go. Vardy may retire. Facundo’s loan will expire and before you know it we will be left with a much more average championship squad and not much money to spend due to PSR.

Oh and there’s every chance we start next year with a points deduction.

Think you're right, I don't think N'didi wanted to stay this season, but nobody was prepared to match his over inflated Leicester wage.

We don't want this team in the championship that is the whole problem are suffering at the moment we are stuck with a load of overpaid players who couldn't care, it's rotten to the core, the quicker we can off load players the better, until that happens the problem will only get worse

You're dead right, The Players are on inflated wages at Leicester, even if somebody what interested in any of them (which I doubt) they'd never match the wedge they're on here, so they'll just sit, fester and do what I call a 'Drinkwater' just take the money and happily bide your time till the contract runs out...

I think that the way the Championship is even this shower of shite, are probably more than capable of winning it.

its atrocious this year, no team is running away with it. All the teams from 5th down are absolute doggo.

The wise old heads of Ayew and BCR will do marvels with their dark arts. If we can get a half decent defender or 2 we will be well away. Scoring might be difficult with Just Daka.

Be interesting to see if any of the shysters who couldn't wait for loans elsewhere can get away with it again after a second relegation.

Soumare, Kristiansen, looking at you two in particular.

I think we will be in and around the play off places. I thought that the last time we got relegated.

Just depends if there’s going to any sanctions against us. If not, I get the impression, there will be money to spend, that’s why I think we didn’t spend in January, otherwise we would have breach PSR next season, regardless of which division we are in!

Has Vardy got another season in him? He still looks so dangerous at times. No chance anyone who goes down will do a Luton. Luton have invested to build a nice stadium for L1 or L2. More likely to emulate Sheff Utd or Burnley. Just hope there isn't another team who will emulate Leeds next year

No, my heart would love for him to go again, my head says if we go down we need to have our future striker sorted and play them week in week out, the last thing we need is Vardy keeping out a player who needs a good run in the Championship, getting promoted and our new striker isn't then ready for the step up because Vardy cut his game time in half.

We are a poorly run club we need a massive clear out. From the boardroom all the way to the team. Need to build a team who want to play not just pick up big wages

Nowhere near a given we go back up this time. I think it was as near to a given as possible last time out but this is a substantially poorer team than last time, that is going to probably get worse, that has been in appalling form for literally a year now. Don't forget we lost 6 of our last 12 at the end of the last Championship season. Will be quite heavily contingent on how we recruit, which was a big part of it last time.

People point to Sheffield United but they have really overhauled their side with a manager who knows what he's doing. I'd have no confidence in our twats managing that. There isn't a single bit of nous at this club if the points about this all catching them by surprise is anything to go by. A club in total fantasy land.

We still have a good team for next season. And a few players will really benefit from a full season in the Championship.

Jakub

Ricardo / Wayo

Okoli / Vestegaard

Souttar / Nelson

Kristensen / JJ

Winks

Skipp / Ndidi

Fatawu Daka Mavididi

that's a good side for the championship.

Alves and Braybrooke to be involved more as well.

get rid of Faes, Coady and Reid.

Ayew will be relatively decent in the championship.

Mads Hermansen and Bilal will likely be the only players we can sell. And we will need to bring money in.

still a strong side. If done well with playing a few academy players could be a decent season. Knowing our board they will persist with the older players who have relegated us 2 times already and we will be far worse off in the long run.

I think Ndidi goes for around 10m

I think he is good enough for a move away.

i just struggle to see that happen. If clubs couldn’t agree terms with him when he was on a free transfer. Why would they pay more money now. I hope he stays as he will be much needed in the championship
