Not got a problem with this.

I have. I live in London and work/trains mean I can’t make midweek games, the majority of rearranged TV games and aberrations like 7pm Sunday night kick offs.

Sounds like a ST might not be for you?

Why would you make that conclusion? My seat costs around £70 per game general admission. Being a STH even if I miss a fair few is more economical than being a member and paying by the fixture.
That said, I am out for next season on a point of principle.

Will renew as next season back the championship might be fun. Especially winning games again, plus better atmosphere. Clubs like Sheffield Wednesday or Portsmouth do certainly make more noise than say Fulham and Brentford.

What Arsenal ARE doing, and I expect others to follow, is setting a minimum requirement of games STH have to attend or they lose the right to renew. I’m sure our club might try it down the line.
I think the ever creeping corporatism has finally severed my desire to get off my arse and attend matches. I’ll follow from afar now. This last 12 years or so was beautiful while it lasted.

That's fair enough. Although I know a lot Arsenal fans that make £1000's selling their tickets on things like stub hub.

According to Arsenal's website their tickets don't have a qr code, no reason why City can't remove theirs as far as I can see.

I have no idea what you want me to say now to be honest. All I know is that the QR works, it works at other grounds too.

Honestly I couldn't care less and the whole reason they don't want you to have a physical card is so when you don't go you are more likely to sell it back so they can then make a profit on your ticket. You have a card and you're more inclined to hand it over to a mate or just leave the seat empty.

It's profiteering off seats that they have already sold. You only had to look at the amount of advertising their was to sell your ticket for the arsenal game!

The NFT system used at Leicester is standard across the EPL it has dynamic code capability and is currently used by some clubs. As time progresses expect all clubs to turn it on. I think Leicester will give maybe one more season on static and then change. I would expect all away tickets to be dynamic next season.

A mate just tried to screenshot their away ticket for Liverpool, a 'screenshot disabled for security reasons' message pops up and 'codes change frequently for security reasons'. Is sounds like the away tickets already are, unless it's just because Liverpool have already gone dynamic?

Trying going to settings and turning NFC off then try screen shot. But if anyone is going to go first it will be the tourist clubs

Leeds United do 80%

Season Ticket Holders must attend 80% of the home league games at Elland Road or they will not be invited to renew for the following season.

It’s a never ending circle of misery.. making it harder for people to renew and purchase season tickets.. I want to get one next season but should they be bringing this shit in then I’ll just cancel year after.. so 80% is basically 19 home games.. absolute joke..

This rule is fine if all games are at there initially scheduled time. Anything moved from Saturday 3pm (or set time) and isn't able to be attended shouldn't be counted

80% (15.2) is 15 home games. As I said elsewhere - the TV fixtures tend to be really tricky for STH who travel from other cities to attend matches.

Renewal window moving forward over the last few years from June to May to 9th April this year feels like a poorly veiled attempt to get STH locked in before relegation is confirmed.

Be interested to see if the club commsed any rational to this at any of these FAB sessions?

You are wrong kid, they do work and I’ll tell you this, your card has the same chip in it as the chip in the top of smart phones to enable NFC ticketing to work.

As long as you downloaded the email at the start of the season it automatically updates in your wallet.

Another miff someone else said on here if the system goes down you’re stuck, if the system goes down card holders will not get in either as see my first paragraph it’s the same technology just one is in a piece of plastic, the other is in a phone.

You don’t need any signal at the ground, the problem is idiots turn up without first installing it and wonder why they cannot get in as no phone signal. Get it in your wallet beforehand and that’s it, after every game it will update for the next one.

Add in all you need to do is point the top edge of your phone at the ))) sign and it opens,  some try putting it under the QR reader or push it face on to the ))), yes go under the QR reader if using the extra QR code on it but you shouldn’t need to, that’s just a back up option.

But you have to ask why it’s mandatory if we won’t be in the league as it’s looking like?

I only use my phone with my home Wi-Fi , so if I got the ticket ready on the screen at home I would be ok at the ground without signal?

That’s if they’re in the premier league which is looking unlikely.. Leeds are in the championship currently which is where Leicester will be next season. So 19 home games if my maths is correct..

If anyone can be arsed to renew (think I'm going to re-locate if I do, due to the poorly thought out safe standing areas), we should all wait till the last day and make the club sweat a bit.

The ticket is saved on your phone, so you don't need a signal to access it.

Or perhaps you’re missing the point of a season ticket?

I too live in London and similarly struggle with some of the home games. I have a season ticket as it guarantees me away tickets and in the recent past European and an FA Cup final ticket.

Fu©️k The Fan Engagement framework and Fu©️k The FAB. That quote is so club written.

Ryan - it is dis-appointing you think that because it isn't the case

The statements (about tickets & safe standing) were drafted & discussed by the team of FAB fan reps, several versions were generated before the final versions were agreed and sent to the club, the club published them without alteration.

We hoped the tone would be notably different to club written comms (for instance references to negative reactions to previous club decisions)

Forced digital tickets. And an arbitrary transfer of 5 games a season to family members. Spent years sharing season ticket with a family member as I now live out the county and can’t make midweek games, spent tens of thousands on STs over 30+ years and they have a problem with my mum using my ticket. I ****ing hate this club. If it wasn’t for my son getting into it this would be it for me. Good news is they’ll have an empty seat going forward when I can’t go

The Trust was lobbying for the amount of permitted transfers to be higher than 5 last summer, if you would like to message us directly on here or e-mail [email protected] we would like to discuss this further with you

No definition of what is a disability leaves the club wide open to accusations of discrimination. It doesn’t say you have to currently be registered as disabled - only that you can apply for an exemption.

There will be a process in place, if anybody applies and feel their case hasn't been handled fairly then e-mail [email protected]

So I’ve gone 50:50 with my brother for about 10 years with a physical card, so what do we do next season? One of us goes to the majority of the games and the other 5? Seriously
