Always screen shot my ticket to use on the day so not wafting my phone around trying to get a signal to open Google wallet again at the turnstile. I'm sure this will be made impossible soon enough for security. Surprised not done by now.

You don't need a signal to.open google wallet, I rarely get one around the ground and have never had a problem using my digital ticket.

I can't do the screenshot approach, my phone won't let me (just get a blank image). However I do have the little "share" icon in the top right corner.

Has anyone else got this, and has been able to share successfully?

Open the ticket in your wallet. Should be an I icon in the bottom right

Whats Jim Donnelly's email?

Just rang up and said I'm not renewing as I cant transfer the ticket between me and my brother, the bloke on the phone just was silent and said....anything else today? Sums up the club, their client facing roles at the ticket office are a shambles.

I don't know if the club realise the damage they are doing to their relationship with the paying fans .... or more worrying are they even cared ... and I'm certain when the crowd numbers drop .... who will they blame for lack of transfer funds due to poor revenue... the fans that's who ...

Did I not read that the club are allowing you to sell it back or pass it to friends or family up to 10 times? Or did I get that wrong?

When was that announced? The Foxestrust were lobbying for this with the club but with less than a week until renewal is there anymore info? @CosbehFox

Yes, following lobbying, the club agreed to be more flexible than the original fixed up to 5 transfers & 5 for resale

So season ticket holders can now do any combination of transfers & resales with a total maximum of 10

Of course you are not certain to get your match value refund if the seat doesn’t resell you won’t

Also on transfers, the person you are transferring to needs to be linked to your account with their details on the LCFC database

Shame they can't put as much time and effort into the playing squad and management.

So much wrong with our club and all they bother about is someone lending out a season ticket.

Nothing like priorities at a time like this.

Wasted hundreds of millions 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆

The move to digital tickets isn’t something invented by LCFC, the drive is from the Premier League *

* The clubs all point to following PL rules, but the PL is the 20 Premier League clubs

It is a separate question as to whether the club needs to follow PL guidelines if not playing in the PL

This is what I hate.

Pointing to rules. In this case the "Premier League Rules".

Who is the Premier League? The members. The members make the rules.

The members then point to the rules saying they can't do anything.

It's a farce and a con.

The game is lost to corporate interests.

No more. No further. Resist.

Remember when you couldn’t go to a game and simply passed it on to a relative or close friend? Now you can’t do it without some friction. The person you pass it on to has to be registered with the club. That’s enough for me to be out for next season. But I think it’s worse than that. Might they have to have memberships too?

I hate it too. Literally a small minority of men in a boardroom proposed this. If there was a poll of all supporters affected up and down the land I wonder how many thousands would be against it.

No, they don't have to have memberships, just be on the LCFC database

1. Communications are poor. The club should come out and sympathise with the fans at the very least, stating it’s not their choice to implement this.

2. If by going down this can be avoided, then they should avoid it, again showing the support for their customers who in general don’t want it. Take your customer with you, don’t go against them.

3. If it has to be implemented, the club should turn a blind eye to customers getting around it until the PL pushes new measures through. It just ensures less friction between the seller and the customer.

4. The lack of noise from the club supporting their customers highlights a big issue that we have.

5. 100% this is going to have a huge impact on season ticket sales and revenue for next season. My big concern is the shoulder shrugging that appears to be going on with nobody at the club grabbing the issue. When issues arrive it appears we just sleepwalk through them.

6. My personal view is the club is much bigger than it ever was, it’s now a very different business to pre winning the PL and there isn’t anyone above anymore that is noticing the issues and putting them right. Probably a structure issue as the club has got bigger, but it’s clearly a very different club and set up to what it used to be and our PR is firmly in the gutter.

7. This really is a game changer. We could be down for a number of years and showing the lack of support or at least sympathy to their customer base will impact on the customers decisions for many years. The “ why should I go on Saturday when they did this to me” mentally can stay with customers forever.

The club have wanted this for years, it suits them to hide behind the PL forcing it narrative, surely everyone can see that?

Yes everyone can see it but we won’t be a Premier league club and the season after we won’t either, club’s going down the shitter but they’re still imposing rules which do not theoretically apply.

Next season I think will be almost full capacity at games but season after will drop off dramatically to pre 2014 seasons, corners empty etc.

Imposing these rules will just drive more away by then.

Yep we all know this, but they want to know exactly who is attending each game and who owns each ticket, so this suits this to push, regardless if it hurts attendances.
