I’m not asking them to tell us what happening….. I’m asking them to make the day to day more engaging to protect our future support base.

Could do a tour of bits of the training ground, stuff fans don’t get to see, could do a day in the life of an interesting employee like ground staff or maybe catering or something, an insight into pre season preparations from the fitness team… there’s 3 ideas off the bat… show life, show personality…

And to your point… WHY is it two old timers?? That’s the biggest issue, get some new ideas in the place, diversify a bit. Spurs fans love their social team, one of the girls who does it is really funny and engaging and knows what people want to see!

I agree with you and have asked that this topic be put on the agenda for the upcoming FCC meeting. Certain things they cannot share but much more can be done to all keep posting ideas I will collect and share hopefully it will help reset the direction.

Couldn’t agree more.

Social media has changed society more than anyone could have ever predicted, would anyone 10 years ago ever considered paying to watch two YouTubers box terribly!?

Throw in the fact that everything has been pretty much doom and gloom associated with LCFC or KP for so long.

Your simple (yet effective) ideas don’t only show a glimpse of positivity but would attract so many more “clicks” than a photo of Reid training with the Jamaican squad.

Yeah the same girl who worked for LCFC. If I am thinking what you are getting at. Read into that what you will.

The club talk about Community and to be fair they are very good with their involvement but it's nearly all involving the community that has little or no interest in football but it creates a caring façade for the club and KP.

Sadly they do not see fans as a community, a different community of course but one that exist through their love of LCFC and although they are sympathetic and caring for the wider community this is done in their own time and at their own pace.

What they want and need is for the club to show the same commitment and the interest of the LCFC community of fans as they plough into the wider none football community.

It’s completely one way too. To help build anticipation (and future ideas) they could run an LCFC kit World Cup, actually get people to engage with it.

But it’s just tired and sameu because nobody above ever drives any accountability. Whelan is supposed to be a good businesswoman but she has exactly the same supine instincts as Top.

If I achieve nothing else today, I've learned a new word. If I had heard that instead of reading it I'd have assumed there was a business woman called Sue Pine lol

My own personal experience of the club and its strange behaviour regarding social media content was last season when I did my 5km runs each and every day to raise money for Prostate Cancer, I completed a run at the KP and the club were brilliant in making it happen, even had Filbert run round with me on a lap or two, before hand whilst on my health & safety lap the club shared a planned social media post they had written to help raise awareness and also heavily promote the support club had given to me, if would also include a link to my just giving page. I even had confirmation of the planned date it would be published and had to confirm final approval. &nbsp

anyway the planned day of publication came and went and when I chased my contact at the club he embarrassingly had to confirm it had been pulled by someone higher up.

Wow. I wonder why they did that?

The cynic in me thinks that they cancelled it in case people saw the club being helpful and supportive and then had more requests to do the same for others = more work for them longer term. Sad times.

I’d be interested to hear “what they can’t show” because the majority of the premier league is more or less access all areas!

The mind boggling thing with LCFC is that the LCFC in Community organisation is utterly excellent but it’s absolutely a secret in the level of work they do and produce for the city.

They are crying out for people to amplify this message.

The main take I’ve taken over the past yesr is that the fans themselves are going to push the community aspect and begin to work a sub culture.

It was mentioned at the last FCC and they accepted rhey were aware of it. And that communication to the fans had to be different. Two months on no change

Every other Premier League club produced a full match replay within three / four days. We don’t full stop. A waste of cash for international fans

I'll edit my original comment. The FCC minutes illustrate the communication void the club have been accused of and examples given how to attempt to make it better. Absolutely zero implementation but rather they made it worse.

Don’t disagree with you on that at all. My post was more towards people that seem to not understand that it’s not people with much intel.  The content is piss poor no arguing that, but some people seem to expect them to be able to address unrealistic things.

it wasn’t my best post…. that’s why you should only write while taking a dump, not when sat in a meeting lol

In all seriousness this kind of thing has happened

Given Zero credit recently, but if the graphics today are the start of the 'new season' i'm quietly encouraged. Look a lot cleaner and more modern than anything we've ever churned out.

Perhaps using a new agency or hired someone new in the graphics team.

It looks to me like it’s an EFL wide thing. Take a look at any club from Championship to League 2. All very similar

A lot of L1 and 2 clubs use similar agencies/the FL

I looked at Bristol City and Millwall when I saw your reply and both massively different to ours.
