are you ok m5?

He loves the ownership. If he really had something aboyt him- he’d have spoken out. Yet he turns up to friendlies, giving Aiyawatt high fives. I adore him but I love my club more.

Those that got the Vardy shirts from the totally legit sellers, is the quality good?

I ordered both the aways, quality is really good although I would go a size up. I’ve only worn one to 5 a side and it survived the wash 😂 Hard to say without looking at an original but if you’re just gonna wear one to 5s or to knock around in I doubt anyone will be able to tell the difference tbqh

You’d probably adore someone who has given you a life beyond your wildest dreams would you not?

Top is dreadful at business and running a football club… I imagine like most say about him he’s a bloody lovely generous bloke if you’re in. His circle!

the two things can exist separately…

You’re part of the problem.

Yep.

Happy with mine even though they sent my order without his name first time round.

Second time round it came much quicker. Good quality.

No I haven’t. You have made excuses towards the owner, therefore you are part of the problem. There is no compromise, Jamie Vardy or Aleksandar Dragovic.

I can’t stand the bloke. I hate what he’s doing to the club…. Is there a chance he might be a nice person if you’re his friend though? Probably! So does that make it okay for Vardy (who knows him) to have respect for him… yes!

What seller did you use? I'm after the black third strip shirt.

Yes the point is- if Vardy really loved the club he’d not be mates with him! He’s not bothered.
Our greatest player and a week doesn’t go by that I don’t watch his highlights.

He has been part of the problem- that is apparent in the current squad.

Definitely developed an over-dependency on Vardy and his mere presence alone. Even his waning years at Leicester possessed enough guile, speed and knowhow to trouble even Premier League defences.

May be 38, but he has scored two goals in three appearances for Cremonese in Serie A, more than our current trio who have scored one between them in 14 games in all competitions. Manipulate the maths however we like, who we have now leading the line are not on Vardy's level.

Grow up FFS. As if any of us have a say. This 'part of the problem' nonsense is childish.

In some ways I’m glad he’s not here anymore

He’d started to become the scapegoat amongst the thicker element of our fan base

Perhaps now they might see he was never part of the problem

He definitely wasn’t part of the problem on the pitch. But there’s a wider discussion to be had about player power that has been rotting the club and Vardy was part of that unfortunately.

That depends who the players in question are. Pearson was very big on including players in the decision-making process, right up to recruitment at times, and that way of working has persisted since then. It was a great way of doing things when the influential voices were characters like Morgan, Fuchs, Vardy, Huth, Schmeichel, Wasilewski etc. Not so good when the characters in question are less trustworthy, which is really the fault of those who brought them in post-2015. Even some of Puel's signings were arguably, in terms of their moral fibre, lacking the steel and mental resilience of their predecessors. Should we be sidelining some of those influences in the current climate? Yes, I think I'd agree with you on that one.

But I don't see that we can blame Vardy for having been a positive influence who was rightly given a prominent voice. And that he's on civil terms with the owner is neither here nor there.

Pearson was the messiah and the only reason King Power worked under the current owner’s Dad(didn’t have a clue for a lot of his time here), he managed upwards as well as managed the dressing room (yes through delegation also).

I love Jamie Vardy but he’s Aiyawatt’s mate first and foremost. He was our most senior player for the last few years and there is no denying he oversaw the biggest rot in the dressing room I’ve ever seen.

Him scoring and sprinting back to kick-off really hit home how much he saved us over the years. I really think he was underappreciated in football - he was consistently hitting 15-20 goals in sub-par teams; especially between 2016-2019. As a club, we were lucky to have a genuine world class striker, but the club never implemented any contingency planning for when he inevitably left. Unfortunately, we are paying the price now. You probably have to time travel back towards 2013 to pinpoint the last time we signed a good striker (Leo Ulloa). Vardy, at 38, would be our best striker even now, if this doesn’t highlight the genuine mismanagement at the club, then I’m not sure what will.

Well, we did buy Musa and then Daka :P

Vardy oversaw the biggest rot in the dressing room lol

Schmeichel leaving accelerated that rot but that rot was well under way whilst he was here. It was down to recruiting the wrong personality types and Rodgers being a wrong un himself, not Vardy.

We had Fofana forcing his way out to Chelsea, which we knew would happen with how he left his previous club. We had our captain Evans being injured then magically recovering for Northern Ireland games. Tielemans being left to the last year of his contract. The introduction of Faes who blames everyone but himself for his mistakes. Ward who also arguing with the centrebacks over his own mistakes. Rodgers being a petulant child playing games with the board with substitutions because he didn't get any new transfers.

I could go on but Vardy cant be asked to oversee that mess and turn it around, he's a senior member of the dressing room, not someone who is expected to manage all the players, and manager, and who we bring in.

He was part of the culture that has brought the club down.
