As a youngster I would tune it to Serie A coverage on Channel 4 just to watch Gazza, I am finding myself doing the same think to watch Vardy.

 

You do wonder if the likes of Arsenal did get a deal over the line for him after we won the prem how many goals this bloke would have got. Im amazed he stayed with us for so long but it doesnt surprise me to see what he is doing in Serie A. That game was a million miles an hour, chaos at times with some of Bolognas players having 7 shots on goal. Vards managed two goals, he could have got another as nearly nicked one in forcing a GK save and went to round the GK early doors but didnt quite manage it on his left side.

 

What I like about the Cremonese set up is they dont seem to sub him, even with him approaching 39 years young and playing 100 mins tonight.

 

A frickin love this guy so much, I may get out there to watch him live one final time!

Not just the goals, too. You think of his superb pass to set up Reid against Brighton, the lovely flick for Buonanotte at Notts and the deft touch for Ayew at Ipswich.

 

Now we have Daka barely controlling the ball, Ayew playing walking football and a static Carranza.

 

His game awareness was fantastic as well.

Say what you want about the club but his send off was far from pathetic. Probably the only thing theyve got right in the last few years

Never thought I'd be incredibly jealous of a club I'd never heard of 6 months ago. I'm really made up for him though and so glad he got out of this shit show

It’s mad to think that Vardy is cremoneses Esteban. The feelings we got picking up someone of that stature and then them actually being good at the club just hits different. Esteban made us feel big time and Vardy does the same for them.

Kasper, Wes, Vardy… here from the start of one of the clubs greatest eras and all just left with very little acknowledgement. No statue, stand or even anything like a pitch at the training ground to help keep their legacy around the club.
