I work with a Derby fan and a F****t fan. Two of us are having a good Monday morning so far.

I think out of Cov, Derby and Forest, Derby are by far the most affable fans. The other two seem to have a delusion about them whereas Derby are generally grounded. We need to do the double over them though.

Just to say, Marinakis should be in a Greek prison now, and the port he owns has a horrendous past of trafficking. Not to mention how he’s helped get Russian resources in Europe throughout the war to keep their economy going. Abramovich got disqualified despite actively trying to solve the war, whereas Marinakis is actively enabling it.

I finally enjoyed some football again.

Can't believe their owner bollocked the manager on the pitch.

Our team came to life when Monga finally came on.

He has to be first pick ahead of McAteer.

Pretty sure there are FA rules limiting the number of minutes 15-year-olds can play.

Even if not, there are likely to be stamina issues, especially given the intensity of Premier football.

I work with Nottingham plumbers, first thing I got this morning was ( loud voice ) you ****ing Leicester willy puller. I pissed myself with laughter, although mathematically forest still can’t make top 5 I believe

Agree with this. Derby fans, on the whole, seem fairly normal. They don't take themselves too seriously, realise that their history is just that and tend to be fairly knowledgeable.

Forest fans seem to think they're one season away from dominating Europe and are only cack because they've been cheated out of it.

If they can’t beat us in this state it really is their own doing. I’ve said all season they are a one dimensional mid table team (at best) who are having a good season. We’ll make that a good first 30 games.

This was a good article about how they basically had a statistically impossible run at the start of the season and they're basically back to normal now.

yeah I actually agree that sooner or later it would fall apart for them, it was the same when Nuno was at Wolves, he did ok at the start and then soon started collapsing.... god I hope so!

Had a lovely meeting with one of our site directors at lunch... in Nottingham.... he's a season ticket holder :D

He said LCFC were the worse side they had faced at home this season.

Yeah I’m sure we were absolutely worse than the Brighton side they did 7-0, or the 12 points Southampton who they beat 3-2. Or other sides they beat although they don’t seem to have beaten anyone convincingly apart from Brighton.

All just bluster. They were fortunate to escape with a point yesterday and were hanging on at the end.

Maybe he could train with Soumare to get tips on how to manage stamina.

I just laughed, it was a pint of bitter moment.

I was expected a lot more from them to be fair. As I said before, they seemed to be a one trick pony with putting balls into the box. I also expected them to be quite a physically tough side but I was shocked at how soft they were, falling over time and time again when a blue shirt was within a foot or so. I can’t remember if that was a trait of Nuno’s Wolves side or not.

The ref was a joke. No big decisions or anything headline making but consistently stopping the game for soft free kicks in their favour whilst constantly ignoring similar level or worse in our favour. I think ‘homer’ would be the term.

And not the fault of the linsewomen who was following protocol but I do think this letting play go on when they know it is offside should be looked at. It’s been said before it will result in injuries.

I was surprised quite how bad they actually were. I think they're certs for bottom half next season. How far down, who knows.

Dear forest fans (both of you )

Sadly your flirt with the champions league has come to a halt, your failure to be able to see things through to completion like a far superior Leicester city Fc have shows that you are just not up to the job, your luck has run out and although our season has been very poor we will return ... your owner seems an extremely nice fellow as shown yesterday and his dress sense is to be admired ... anyway try not to get to upset ... better to have tried and failed than not tried at all ... you need to be something special to complete the journey...

Not saying he’s at fault but I bet the Forest physio  will be dreading bumping into his boss today.

I wonder if, rightly, the focus of treatment after the goalpost collision was to ascertain if there was a head injury and gave the thumbs up based on that, he’s OK, without realising his legs were no longer working :dunno:

He'd probably end up in Macedonia if you meant literally

I've never been much of a believer in 'false positions' in league tables, but I've been saying all season that Forest have been a rare example of one and got absolute pelters for such blasphemous statements on here.

They're average on the ball, create little and are dependent on defensive solidity, individual performances in the middle and a one-season-wonder of a striker getting on the end of crosses. Once any one of those dried up due to loss of form, fatigue or injuries, they were always going to look like a very, very average side. It always, to me, looked built on sand and I have turned out to have called it right.

This summer, they'll lose at least one big name and struggle to replace him. They'll start slowly as they struggle to balance Thursday nights with Premier League football, NES will come under pressure as they sink away to mid or lower midtable, which is a more realistic level for them, and Zorba will bring in a vastly inferior coach. I wouldn't even be that shocked to see NES end up at a La Liga club over the summer.
