You can talented and be a prospect a big club can gamble on for a small fee and still not be ready for first team football. He will not be playing for their first team and will be looked at as a development player. Its easy business for Lazio to do, almost risk free, low risk, possibly high reward. Think its hard to argue there isn't a pathway when we have a players from the academy getting lots of minutes. Jake Evans has just sign a 3 year contract so he must believe their is a pathway. I pretty sure if Lazio came in for Braybrooke, Alves, Joseph, Aluko or Page they would all be interesting in going and they are getting minutes. Add to that the source is a poor one. We’re in League 1 and need a striker though - You’d think he’d at least be good enough to push the players we have in that position now. None of them look any good. He could be playing now to show him the (sorry to use the word)…pathway.

I'd have played him of Otchere in pre-season as I think he's a better player, which would have allowed him to stake a claim. I think he could have played every minute in the league and still would pick going Lazio.

If we were so Babylon run and in league one he would not be going to Lazio. As little as 6 years ago they would be taking their best players.This club is the pits and this is product of that.
