So can Aluko basically play anywhere along the back line? Seems to have been mostly a left back last season and that's where he came on for his debut, then I think he was playing centre back in pre-season and right back tonight

Surely someone like Evans should be getting some minutes in a game like this. He’ll end up coming on as a sub for the 1st and be expected to hit the ground running probably end up injured.

Or has he been sidelined for some reason

He’s in that awkward limbo, where he’s needed for training and emergency situations but has very little chance of playing for us.  Alves found himself in the same spot last season, it’s such a waste  of development.

There’s been plenty missing this week and the fact he has little chance of playing for the 1st is the exact reason why he should be playing in this

Golding’s playing and he’s part of the 1sts

Is Otchere the kid we signed from Arsenal? Didn’t think he was a striker. Unless he’s just filling in there

No thats Blessing Akolbire

Number 6, Neale, looks very tidy on the ball, technically ahead of the majority of the others, and can get out of tight spaces. He reminds me a lot of KDH. Anyone know much about him?

Came off the bench a few times last season and got a few goals

It’s because Evan’s is next in line for the bench id imagine. So they don’t want him tired or getting a knock, just in case we need him.

I agree it’s pointless not to play him though, he could do both without any issue
