We could and probably should have won that one, but it's a point you take really isn't it. We just have to keep picking up those points here and there to leave West ham and Liverpool adrift a bit.

Poor attendance again (not the fans fault), we know the reasons...

We look so defensively frail without a traditional back 4 as our defenders are so easily gotten at down the wings.

We also lack a bit of directness and a no.9.

Im hoping we go back to a 4-3-3 once Mouchon and Goodwin are fully fit.

I'll put my hands up and say that Hlin isn't working up top, which is a shame because she does seem technically great and is still a great squad player. Mouchon is probably just a better version.

We can get something at Villa, again I'd take a draw, but it's winnable.

Billiard needs to stop mourning for his friend and get on and find a new manager, Passmoor has them fitter and is clearly a good coach but a manager he is not

Probably should have won at the end; the final ball going astray. Mouchon was a good sub and offered a goal threat. I didn't understand why Swaby was taken off.

not fully fit I'd imagine

Also quite puzzled by the sudden lack of minutes for Las. Thought she looked bright when she came on at United and she tends to bring a lot more energy to the team than most.

Just a word for Olivia McLoughlin as well, thought she used the ball well and looked stronger than Mace, out of the new players, she looks the best by far.

Agreed, even my daughter was impressed with her and seems to have taken the mantle as her new favourite now Mace and Momiki have left.

She seems to go a bit shy when looking for a pass forward and will either go back or sideways, but aside from that she reminds me of a Scottish N'golo Kante. Just everywhere winning the ball all the time.

We just have to keep hold of her now! But I expect the plan was probably to use us as a stepping stone. Which is understandable really.

That's a bit harsh, Passmoor's doing as good of a job as anyone else we've had managing us since being in the WSL, with arguably less than what his predecessors had.

Like with the men's game, good managers aren't just readily available in abundance.

I'd like us to have someone in by or during the winter break at the latest. Whether we give Passmoor the job or get someone new in, it's much of a muchness. We aren't going to get any worldbeaters through the door.

Leicester City Women 1 Everton Women 1: Mouchon makes her mark
Leicester were in charge for the majority of this game. We looked solid at the back and worked hard for our point here. A point we can be pleased with, but a chance for a win.

'I deeply hurt people by moving to Saudi Arabia'

Emma Smith
BBC Sport journalist
When the offer came in from Saudi Arabia, Ashleigh Plumptre's first instinct was to say no.

In 2023 the defender's contract was coming to an end at childhood club Leicester City and she was looking for a new project, something to inspire her and where she would feel valued as a person as well as a footballer.

And after negotiations and a visit to the Middle East, the Nigeria international decided to take the plunge and become the first player to move from the Women's Super League (WSL) to the Saudi Women's Premier League (SWPL).

Two years later she has signed a contract extension at Jeddah-based Al-Ittihad and wants to challenge preconceived notions from the western world about Saudi Arabia and what life is like for a female athlete.

But she admits regrets at losing the trust of some LGBT fans in women's football and acknowledges that Saudi women's football has a long way to go on and off the pitch.

Glad to see this, seems like a good bloke and a decent manager too.

He’s done ok so far. Just needs the board to back him with a couple more players

Good luck to him, until the board back him he’s always going to have to find a way to scrape wins, there’s still not enough quality in all areas but he’ll bring a much needed period of stability I hope.

this is it, we could have Bompastor in charge and still be struggling towards survival, because the board are asleep at the wheel and don't seem to put any value in investing in the women's team even while women's football is in a period of pretty huge growth

The intention is there but the quality is sadly lacking.
