Best get looking to spend record amounts as well now then...

Probably spent it all on sacking Miquel and what it will cost to get Beard from Burnley

I wonder if we have any links to the US college system, all those players can't go into the NWSL and the depth of talent in America is meant to be huge in terms of sheer numbers

I guess that you maybe then have work permit barriers though.

Not sure what the rules would be, just guessing.

elite sport Visa's go through fairly quickly usually but yeah you have a point, still an area we should be looking at

This one has always impressed me in England age group teams.  She’s certainly a great prospect but I’m not sure she’s ready for WSL1.  As a centre-half she’ll get plenty of practice at Leicester though!

Jess Park and Grace Clinton swapping Manchester clubs is another eye opener, so we potentially face Park, Toone and Terland on Sunday.

5 out of our group of 9 have not renewed, we all did at least 90% of games last season, 2 of us did the lot, however when the club treat fans so poorly by not communicating and sell their best players it’s hard to justify the time, money and effort any longer. Even if 2 or 3 come in today, it’s far too late for this season and the damage is done after losing Yuka and now Mace. Losing a young lioness and replacing her with a 32 year old from Birmingham says everything about how bothered King Power are about the women’s team.

We are pleased to confirm that Rick Passmoor has joined our LCFC Women coaching staff to lead the team’s preparations for the new Barclays Women’s Super League season.

Rick, an experienced and respected figure within the women’s game, arrives after a spell with West Ham United Women, where he was Assistant Head Coach. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge from a coaching career spanning two decades, including roles with Leeds United Ladies and Notts County.

He will work alongside Tom Pressman and Ollie Colebourne within the coaching team, which he will lead on an interim basis until the process of appointing a new LCFC Women First Team Manager has been concluded.

Rick’s addition strengthens the set-up as the squad continues its build-up to the WSL opener at Manchester United on Sunday 7 September.

Love to know why they dismissed Miquel, probably she had the right royal hump over Mace's impending departure. I watched a lot of the women's games last season and they were gradually getting better. Hard to see us finishing anywhere but bottom this season.
